Consider this retreat a little slice of heaven! We took our entire family for a week long winter getaway and it was by far the best family retreat location we've stayed at. From the extensive ammenties of the house itself to the gorgeous views of Lake Natahala we couldn't have asked for a better place to call "home" for the week. This is definitely a well cared for property both inside and out and it shows... from the well thought out extra's inside the home including the little "perks" available to it's guests to the beautiful landscaping that reaches right down to the water. One of our favorite spots was the fantastic firepit on the lower level where we spent every evening. Bob and Deb were so helpful and quick in sharing some of the local places to visit and assisting with any question we had about the property itself. They take great care in making sure their guests have a fantastic stay. We have stayed at numerous mountain getaways... and from here out the Nantahala Getaway is our new family retreat "home"! Stunning best describes this gorgeous property on Lake Nantahala. We have been staying at this same lake house for the past 6 years now and it is always my family's favorite week of the year. The house is always immaculate, the view is the best on the lake, and the peace and serenity is priceless. We love hanging out on the dock in the daytime and hanging by the firepit at night. I have 3 children ranging in age from 22 down to 13 and all 3 of them love their time on the lake. They enjoy kayaking, paddle boarding, canoeing, fishing, swimming, hiking, and just relaxing. Rented this place from owner Debbie Brinker for a week getaway! All I can say is it was a spectacular property with so many added perks.
