Great time, bring Mosquito Spray. Definitely one of the beautiful places in Utah. Great campsite, no running water, cool pavilion and nice fire pit (unused) on this trip. Our campsite didn’t have the nasty smell that can be associated with deceased Brine Shrimp and the Great Salt Lake. Beautiful sunset and views of the moon.

Took the Scouts camping hear last October. It was a little windy but there were no bugs. I hear the bugs can be a real problem in the warmer months. We went on a hike nearby (see picture below) which was a great little hike. We saw Bison, Antelope, Mule Deer, and a Jack Rabbit. We will be going back soon!

Great place for an early spring get away spaced out sites so you're not right on top of others. Could use more restrooms. No shade either, bring your own. The later you go the worse the bugs are so be forewarned.

Initially when we pulled up to our campsite our dumb dog jumped out and started harassing the bison, which I get, is a huge no-no and I was really mad at the dog. Once we got him under control, the park ranger swiftly threatened us. Other than that, the campsites are far enough apart that you do have some privacy. Each site comes with a fire pit, picnic table, and canopy for $50. The scenery is beautiful as usual. Unfortunately the gnats and mosquitos were so bad that we spent most of our time itching and fending for ourselves. Our mosquito repellent didn't work as well so definitely bring something with high deet. There was a dumpster nearby so we didn't need to pack out our trash. We will likely never camp here again at this time of the year (May) unless...

I have never camped on antilope island and I felt like I should have know better than to do so. There were SOOOO MANY GNATS! bug spray didn't help. They were in everything the food the water it was aweful. There was also no shade so we brought a canopy. So just keep that in mind if u go. The kids had a blast and it was cool seeing buffalo so close up. But over all it was hot and buggy. I would absolutely go again for a day trip but I don't think I want to camp there again. Atleast not in the middle of summer lol maybe fall I bet it rocks come fall. If u do camp I 100% suggest going on the scorpion hunt that was awesome bring ur own uv light they r like 5...

The campground is fine. They have tables and a fire pit for each site. Plenty of flat spots for tents. Bathrooms are mostly clean, non flushable toilets. No running water, but they did have hand sanitizer. VERY close to other sites so you can hear everything at both neighboring campfires. No trees anywhere, so bring your own shade if you come when it’s hot. Convenient access to white rock...
