Location location location! If you want a fancy resort, this is not your place. But what it does offer is a top tier camp host, Charles, who busted his tush all day every day to help out campers with everything from local restaurants to places to enjoy the beautiful environment around the campground. Our site was spacious and level. Water had good pressure and good taste. The bathrooms were very clean, EVERY day. The laundry was always clean, prices were very reasonable and all the machines worked! Yes there are full time residents, all of whom were friendly and kind. Snooty visitors can just drive on by. The proximity to the national Forest and national park gave us much more time for hiking with less driving. We were there for 7 nights and only scratched the surface of the possible places to hike within a 20 minute drive. Burn ban prevented any firepit time. The atmosphere in the camp spoke of a nice community of people who look out for each other. I highly recommend this spot to anyone who wants to enjoy what the area has to offer.

I have to agree with some of the other poor reviews. Yes, the location is great. And yes, the host Charlie was very welcoming. But that cannot make up for the disrepair of most of the vehicles in the park. We prefer smaller, quiet campgrounds - not RV “resorts”. Most of these sites were very overgrown with not just old RVs, but dilapidated ones. Cardboard covered windows and waist high weeds are not “maintained older vehicles”. WiFi was not working and there had been zero rain (whatever that has to do with it). We found a county park up the road for $24 per night that was stellar. Update: The owner contacted me regarding my review. She was very polite and seemed to really want to understand where I was coming from. It’s a tough spot to be in. This park needs to decide if it’s going to cater to more permanent residents on low incomes or appeal to the tourist crowd which has higher expectations and rightfully so. I wish them well in trying to find their path. But I won’t be staying there as it currently is.

We had an absolutely magical stay at Mount Baker RV Park! It truly exceeded our expectations — more like a boutique resort than your typical campground. The bathrooms were immaculate and felt like something out of a luxury hotel. We also loved the communal fire pit, where we shared stories with fellow travelers under the stars. The entire park was peaceful, private, and exceptionally clean, making it a perfect retreat for our family. There were plenty of EV charging options, which made our trip so much more convenient. The location is unbeatable — nestled among beautiful trails and nature paths, and we were even lucky enough to catch part of the Ski to Sea cycling event passing by! We’ll absolutely be back. Can’t recommend this hidden gem enough!

Contrary to the poster who felt unsafe, this place is amazingly quiet, clean and at no time did we feel there was any issue with the more full-time residents. In fact, it was mellower than many resort-like rv parks where we have stayed. The facilities are indeed very clean, and there are nice perks in the laundry room such as maps, hike recommendation booklets and a plethora of dvd's (not many for children). Charlie, the camp host, is an absolute gem. We were very stressed when we pulled in due to lack of cell service-had a conference call in 15 minutes. Charlie was so kind and calm, that i went over to his rv and thanked him when we finished with the call. The wifi is very good, and we were able to do wifi calling. My t-mobile finally kicked in for good phone and text service, but a bit weak for internet. Hubby"s Verizon phone never kicked in. If you are looking for a resort, then this is not the place for you. If you just need a safe, quiet place to stay with clean facilities and access to Mt. Baker and it surrounds, i highly recommend this park. If we ever revisit this area, we would stay here again. Very stable 50amp electric, sewer and water. The water pressure is a little weak, but turning on the water pump helps. We did not check out the bathroom/shower but everyone else states how...
