We stayed at Hartman Center Campground and Retreat over the July 4th weekend and had a truly relaxing experience. I have a small obsession with tiny homes so when I found this campground I knew it was a place to visit!
The tiny home was well-equipped with thoughtful amenities, making our stay comfortable and convenient. Everything had instructions posted - the induction stove, air conditioning, and hot tub - making it easy to use all of the amenities with no issues. The staff were friendly and helpful, adding to the welcoming vibe of the entire retreat.
One small suggestion: we stayed multiple nights and weren’t sure about housekeeping or towel replacement. It would be great to include that info in the very informative binder provided in the tiny home or on the website. Another minor noticing - the inner shower curtain probably needed to be replaced/cleaned.
I've attached photos of all the items that are available for use in the tiny home - I am a planner so it's helpful to know what you need to bring and what you don't! A Keurig is available for use with plenty of coffee (in the most adorable Keurig pod holder that I immediately bought on Amazon for my house!) but there was no sugar/creamer available so be sure to bring some! Towels are available - and 2 lovely robes were also available in the closet - but you'll want to pack some beach towels for the hot tub just in case!
Overall, we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend Hartman Center to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in a cozy, well-maintained setting. Ideal for couples, solo travelers, or anyone wanting a quiet nature retreat with modern comforts. If it was closer, I would probably be...

I had a bit of a hard time cooking with the pans provided on the induction cooktop. The pan would quickly get very hot. then shut off completely. it would do this repeatedly as a way to achieve the desired temp setting. It's probably a skill issue (as I've never used and induction cooktop before), but I ended up burning my food on the bottom while it was still cold in the middle. Also, both pans don't really fit next to each other on both burners at the same time. I've included photos of everything you can expect to find in the kitchen cabinets/drawers/countertops (or at least what was there for us), so you can prepare adequately. For instance, it would be a good idea to bring your own oil or maybe a kettle if you don't want to use the coffee machine for hot water. That said, cooking was only a small part of our trip and the issues I ran into weren't too much of an inconvenience. ||We're definitely going to be making our way back out to Hartman Center Campground...
