Milroy Deli LLC — Restaurant in Armagh Township

The Milroy deli was a pleasant surprise. I found it on Google maps while at the local ballpark. The outside looks to have been recently painted. When I walked in, there was a dining area, a deli counter, it's not much to look at, but like any good sandwich shop, the magic happens when you take a bite. I ordered a sub and a steak salad for my wife. The service was friendly and helpful, a small town vibe. I took mine to go and was very pleased when I took a bite. The sub had lots of meat, it seemed like it was freshly sliced and a great blend of flavors. The salad was too much for my wife to finish, lots of toppings, it was better than we expected for a very simple deli. Simple is good as long as the food is good and I'm happy to report that the food is good. If I am near Milroy around lunchtime, I'd gladly return. Prices are better than...

I recently moved to Milroy and absolutely love this deli. The lady running it is such a friendly sweetheart so the service is great. Orders are quick and never a wait. Some places nearby like Vince’s say their cheesesteaks are the best around and though they are good you won’t find a more authentic Philly cheesesteak than the ones at Milroy Deli in Central PA. The service was quick and polite and my interactions with the staff were so personable. The Italian hoagie had the best flavor and lots of cold cuts.
