From the check in to check out, it was not a pleasant experience. The staff treated us as an inconvenience and not welcomed. We booked a room with two beds and a pull out. The pull out did not have sheets or a pillow and when we asked for some, we were given attitude and told they would try to find sheets but didn't have pillows. Later the sheets were brought to the room but they told us they had no pillows. We had to use a sheet rolled up as a pillow! The room was falling apart. Water damage on ceiling with a hole. Staples falling out of wall from decorative trim. Bathroom fan so loud it woke up others in room. Corners of room were dirty and wall damaged and seemed to be poorly repaired. They offer a game room in hotel but multiple games did not work. They offer gym but key would not work to open door. Noticed fire extinguisher was missing from wall and repairs being done in unsecured areas with ceiling tiles missing and ladders left out. Bathrooms in common areas caution taped off. Breakfast included was disgusting. The coffee tasted burnt, muffins were rock hard, fruit rotten and the eggs may have been the worst thing I've ever tried to eat. They had make your own blueberry waffles without a blueberry or blueberry flavoring in site. Thank goodness for the fruit loops or nothing would have been edible. Do yourself a favor and pay more to stay somewhere else!!

This is why we always book directly through choice or whichever chain. Also, if you have a problem with your room, talk to the front desk, they are usually very helpful and accommodating. Is this hotel outdated and in need of a face lift? Yes it needs work and it's my understanding that the new owners are doing that but it takes time, this includes at some point reopening the pool but we knew it was closed prior to booking it. Next: the hotel overall is very clean and so was our room. We were pleasantly surprised as well as relieved. Everything we experienced during our stay was just fine and better than we experienced at higher rates hotels. Staff are very helpful and hardworking, professional as well as friendly. Elba on the front desk took the time to get to know us and the gentleman on at night was also friendly. I took photos to share so that others can see just what we experienced. We will definitely stay here again if we are up that way again.

Shower had a dirt ring a bout 16inches hi. Went downstairs to talk to the guy and no one was there. I went to walmart and brought cleaning supplies as well as linens and new pillows. Twelve thirty a m finally finished cleaning told the overnight lady what happenedvShe was great left message for owner/day manager when I came back the next day after a long day at the failed talk to the manager showed him the videos.I took of me cleaning and all the pictures I took of that filth.He apologized that he would take care of it. I walked around, took pictures before.I went to check out because I knew he wasn't going to take care of me for that. He said nothing you could do so nothing.No price off. Also, there are no mates.They have a guy that comes in in the family.Walks over next door and cleans at some point. All of the pillows and linens stashed at the bottom of the stairs for days at a time at least from friday to sunday from what I saw. The whole hotels. Place is filthy in gross. Also falling apart, you should see the pictures.I have of the dirt all over the hotel holes just nasty.

We booked this room a bit last minute but it was what we wanted, a king bed(for my husband and I) with a pull out couch for our daughter. Check in was fine although there was a car blocking the entrance and no where to park other than across the street from the hotel. There were four spots on the same side of the hotel, 2 were handicapped, all were taken. We checked in about 7:30pm, tired from a long day. I was told the linens for the couch were in the closet, and they were. The pull out couch was up against the wall facing the king bed that was about 7 inches from the opposite wall against the air conditioning unit which blew cold air on my legs all night. The couch did not have enough space to open, I call the front desk, and the clerk came to the room and suggested he push the King bed all up against the wall. That would not work as there was a nightstand in the way. He left to the lobby to see where he could move us, but he did not have any King beds available so we opted to stay where we were. I went to dress the couch (closed) for my daughter to sleep on and the linens were worn and torn, we were given new linens. After rolling off the couch twice, we just let her sleep in the bed with me and my husband got the couch. The pictures are deceiving, the breakfast are was cramped with hardly enough space to walk between the tables. With a lack of sleep we checked out and upon check out the clerk asked how our stay was and I explained what happened and she said well we have a room with a King and a Queen bed, wonder why that was not offered to you?...I saw red to say the least...I said I don't know I would hope it was already booked, because it was not a peaceful night to say the least. I was given a 15% discount, I thought I should have been given a 50% discount as I only got 1/2 of what I booked. Won't be returning. My husband, 5 month old daughter and I recently stayed here, 08/29-30/2018. Upon first impression, the hotel was very clean, updated and nicely decorated. Check-in went well and the man at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful. Our night was restful and enjoyable. Upon waking up, with a full day of travel planned, we found a bed bug, located on the pillow my husband was sleeping on. Upon finding the bed bug, we took photo and video documentation to show the clerk at the desk. We also saved the bed bugs in a plastic ziplock baggie. We pulled back the mattress off the box springs and found bed bug droppings as well as a bed bug exoskeleton. At this point we notified the front desk. The employee was very apologetic and helpful. He gave us four trash bags and offered for us throw all of our clothes in the hotel industrial dryer on high heat for 30 minutes to kill any potential bugs or eggs. During this process he offered us 50% off of our stay. Upon checkout, the same employee apologized again, to which I expressed the hassle all this caused and the delay to our travel plans. I requested that our stay be covered 100% by the hotel. After pause, the employee decided to cover our night's stay 100%. From what we could smell in our hotel, the room may have been previously treated for bed bugs since there was a chemical smell in the air. When we arrived, the desk attendant didn't know how to check that we had prepaid and wanted to charge my card a second time. The manager had to come and fix the issue. When we were given our rooms, they smelled of smoke even though they were non smoking. The desk attendant informed me that I could have one room in one hallway and the second room in the opposite hallway. These were the only available rooms that were non smoking and didn't smell of smoke. I had both of my babies. It was not acceptable to have the rooms so far apart. The desk attendant finally found two non smoking, non smelling rooms next to each other. After 45 minutes, we finally were able to check into our rooms. The desk attendant said someone could help bring our bags upstairs as there is no elevator but no one came to help. When we went to check out, I had a few questions but there was no desk attendant or employee to be found. The lobby was being restained and stunk to high heavens. They did not put any fans to disperse the air so the smell just lingered. The only really positive thing that I have to say is while the refrigerator in the room did not have a freezer, the hotel did allow me to store my breast milk in their freezer so it would not spoil. I was very grateful for that. Overall, I would not come back to this hotel, even though the price was right. The service was fairly poor and the hotel was not as clean/smell free as I...
