I stayed one night at this hotel. It did not have a lighted Days Inn, only a lighted "Oeyo Inn" sign.
Except for the part behind the desk counter, the hotel's front reception room was dark, when I checked in in the evening.
The gentleman who checked me in, said he was filling in for someone else, and it took him some time to produce a folio for me.
When I got to my room, it did have a full slate of DirecTV channels. Also, they did have a refrigerator and microwave.
However, there's no place to hang my garment bag. Although there was an iron, there was no ironing board in the room. Also, there was no Wi-Fi at the hotel, even though the front desk clerk told me what the Wi-Fi network was and the password. However the Wi-Fi network did not show up on my phone, when I attempted to connect. There was also NO TELEPHONE in the room.
One other thing, I was in a room with a double bed. When I would get up off the bed I would hear a loud metal sound, like a truck backing up. I found that particularly irritating.
Most disturbing, when I was in my room and returned from dinner, the front desk clerk was attempting to open my door, while I was inside. Fortunately, I had the deadbolt latched. I looked through the peephole and saw him. He DID NOT knock at all. When I opened the door, he said he had the wrong room. It makes me suspicious of what he was really trying to do.
When I checked out the next morning at 6:30 a.m., there was no one working at the front desk, and the outside front desk door was locked.
Overall, I'm very unsatisfied with my stay at this location, and the customer...
Read moreRoom was on 2nd floor next to drug addicts doing meth all night long. Lots of construction workers staying there, and while there, a syringe of some drug fell out of light cover over sink. The attendant came and got, area not cleaned. Tub looked like it had not been cleaned. Carpet is never a good idea, because of allergens, and not being properly cleaned. Meth heads cranked up again at 3am. Tried to call attendant, but no answer. No breakfast, no coffee and apparently no working police in Atmore, Alabama. Sleep in your car, before staying here. We were just passing through, and I recommend avoiding this entire...
