I am only giving this a 3 star rating because of a couple of reasons 1. They don't have any sort of breakfast in the morning 2. The front desk girl (I forget her name but she was blonde) was rude to my husband, she asked him for the tag number on our vehicle and he informed her that it was a paper tag and she asked "it doesn't have a real tag underneath it" to which my husband replied "it does but it's not registered to us yet", the girl at the front desk got an attitude, rolled her eyes, and cut me off while I was speaking to her to tell us why that was irrelevant and that she HAD to have a tag number and kept sighing at us. 3. We did not order a wake up call and was told check out was at 11 but at 8AM when we were still sleeping the manager banged on our door HARD/LOUD and physically opened the door with his key card and yelled for us to wake up, the only thing that stopped him from entering our room while we were both still sleeping was the door latch at the top, when I went out to see what the heck was going on he said "wake up call" and I said "we didn't order one" to which he replied "oh sorry,...
Read moreMotel 6 is our go to when on the road as they are the most pet friendly (pets stay free! - we just wish more pet owners would be respectful and pick up in the pet walking the areas). Mostly our stays have been very short. This time we needed a place to stay while we waiting to move into our home and it ended up being nearly a month! Luckily, of all the Motel 6s we have stayed at (Washington state, Utah, New Mexico, etc) this one was the most livable. The room was updated, the fridge and microwave were new and clean, the bed was comfortable, the WiFi was really good allowing us to work from the motel, and the room was pretty big. The family who manages this motel is warm, welcoming, and very responsive to our needs (especially since we were here for so long).
The motel is located close to restaurants and shops (Walmart, Dollar Tree, Chili's, and other restaurants). There are even a couple of places that you can walk to if you want have some drinks with dinner.
This was a life saver for us during a very...
Read moreI got what I asked for, all at a very reasonable price. When I got to my non-smoking room, I was thrilled because there was absolutely no trace of any cigarette smell. I've been to places before that assured me I was getting a non smoking room, but the stale smell of cigarettes gave it away. So, the room smelled great, and was super clean; it was also a handicapped room, so it had a nice large shower. The vanity was large and had a huge mirror and bright canned lights above. Although I didn't use them, the room had a nice microwave, coffee maker and small refrigerator. In the corner was a large desk and an accent chair. The television was great with a clear picture and plenty of channels to choose from. They scored extra points with me because the remote was nice and clean (free of any greasy or sticky fingerprints). At breakfast I had cereal and orange juice and watched television in the lobby. I enjoyed my stay and the friendly management is the reason I highly...
