This was my second stay here and it was even better than the first time. I was lucky and was able to make a last minute reservation. I needed a place where there were no fireworks on the 4th of July to bring my dog and they allow dogs. Reservation and check in was smooth, they email you how to check in and get into your cabin. Each of the cabins are uniquely decorated. I wandered around to each room and was absolutely blown away by the decor. The shower is huge and gorgeous. There are sliding barn doors separating each room and they are amazingly restored. They have all the usual amenities plus a microwave, mini fridge, WiFi, TV and a Keurig with a great selection of coffee and coffee cups. There is a beautiful outdoors area with a BBQ area and a fire pit for those staying to sit around. I will absolutely be back!

The cabin were advertised for multiple people but Im a very big guy. It was perfect for 1 me. The cabin was super cute. Love the decor. TV was nice and big. Was on a swivel so it could be seen from the couch the bed. The bed was super fluffy and soft. I have a bed back so it's not that great for me but it was soft and comfy. Plates, utensils, microwave towels and rags. Soap, conditioner, shampoo were all there. There were only two things I didn't not like :1) I wish there was a chair and a small table. 2) they have these cute little crates that you can us for side tables but they don't work well. The owners brother saw me outside and introduced himself and let me know I could contact them if anything was wrong. It was very nice. Good stay. Good place.

For our May 11th 2019 wedding, my husband and I blocked out Miners Camp and offered cabins to immediate family and friends. One thing I loved about working with Miners Camp was the quick responses to questions and the friendly nature of staff. A struggle I had, however, was what appeared to be a lack of organization when it came to actually reserving cabins. At the time of reserving, there were only 12 cabins at Miners Camp. I was asked to send a list of who would be staying in which cabin so that when family and friends called, they would know where to place them. When I created the list and sent it, I was asked if I didn’t want cabins #13 through #16 that would be built and ready by my wedding date. I noted that I did not know there would be an additional 4 cabins, and took the opportunity to offer those out as well. Soon after, I sent another list reserving #13, #14, and #15, and noted that we would release #16. Two days prior to my deadline, I was asked if I didn’t want cabin #17, to which I responded I didn’t realize there was one. I was then informed that cabin #13 does not exist, and that the new cabins are actually #14, #15, #16, and #17. This obviously created a lot of confusion as a result. It would have decreased a lot of stress to know all of this information prior to reserving rooms. While this was a pretty large frustration, I think Miners Camp has a great deal of potential, especially being so close to wedding venues. The staff are incredibly kind, and the dĆ©cor of the rooms have great attention to detail. Now that the cabins are built and clearly labeled, it may be safe to say that other guests will not have the...

This was one of my most favorite stays so far my husband travels for fires and so we have stayed lots of places so far , the cabins are cute and extremely clean the cleaning and booking staff were not only helpful but friendly there’s not much to do in the little town other than hiking and shopping but other than that we are only about 45 mins from Sacramento & 25 to 30 mins to auburn , It’s nice we stayed in cabin 2 and cabin 4 both were very cute beds were comfortable they have a little outdoor bbq which is very cute they also giving materials to cook with in the cabins with kitchens the bbq area as well they have horseshoes and area for you to have a camp fire (we only couldn’t use it due to high fire danger ) and a small kids area as well with a teeter toter and swing for them and other items as well , but other than that this is my favorite affordable place by far !!!!! Squirrels came and visited everyday we were here searching for there winter stash it was amazing and fun to watch them every morning but yeah this is a little hidden gem here in Foresthill Ca and I will be back here in the near future to stay and try and make it a point to stay in each cabin / rooms they have they all have amazing set ups with the cutest decor, so again if your needing a cute little place nestled back into the hill you will love this place , I also wanna add it is extremely quite at night and a tiny bit noisy during the day due to so many appreciated fire workers šŸ’• but other than that it’s nice and comfortable here ā˜ŗļø - If you ever have a chance give them a call you...

Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Would be a great place to bring a family for some quiet leisure and activites. We would definitely bring out family back for another awesome white water rafting trip. We enjoyed our 2 day stay:

Pros: Super cute, modern rooms. Decent privacy. Relaxing and quiet. Fun yard of activities (corn hole, ping pong, horse shoes, really nice fire pit) and well stocked outdoor kitchen area with a fabulous new Blackstone. Loved all the old town mining and antiques all around the property. Our cabin had a wonderfully detailed book of history of this area, I really enjoyed reading it.lots of recommendations of what to do in the area as well.

Cons: Missing screens to open windows at night for the cool mountain air. TV remote batteries were dead. Only enough coffee k cups for one night. Ceiling fans were installed but not working. The grounds perimeter was cluttered with items that need to be hauled to the dumps. Trash in the outside kitchen was overflowing and not attended to for the day. We could only find one ping pong ball. They have several cool string lights between cabins and over kitchen/recreation area that would have added to the ambiance of the property but 80% of the lights...
