So.... my wife and I tried to have a little getaway for our one year anniversary, and this place did nothing but disappoint! But we couldn’t leave, because we couldn’t believe how bad it actually was, that we wanted to see what else could go horribly wrong.
We walked into the hotel, and the front desk lady (Kylie) didn’t even greet us. Then we told her that we had a gift card and wanted to use that to pay for our stay. She had no idea what she was doing. So she made us our keys and told us to go around the back of the building to a door. She wasn’t sure which door, she just said to go to a door in the back. ( I mean, come on!)
So we proceeded to park in the back of the hotel( which was weird, there were only about 10 cars in the whole parking lot of a hotel that has 400+ rooms) anyways we found our way to our room( somehow! It’s a freaking jungle! We had to walk down 3-4 hallways to find our room) then we tried our key, and of course, it didn’t work! So then we had to figure out how to make it back to the lobby. Seriously, it was not easy. When we finally go to the lobby, Kylie was eating food at the front desk with her boyfriend. (Picture this, they are on opposite sides of the front desk, sharing a plate of food. How unprofessional! It was at 2:50-3pm on 10/21/2018 if you want to check your security cameras) she then made us keys and got our keys covered in grease from the nasty food she was eating. Her boyfriend never stopped eating and she was talking to us with food in her mouth! I have never seen so much unprofessionalism! I have a degree in hotel management and worked at a hotel for year. This was seriously the worst thing I have ever witnessed.
The key finally worked and we made it to our room. But then later that night, after coming back from having dinner, I wanted to double check to make sure that Kylie actually knew what she was doing. Apparently, she had charged the gift card, but didn’t charge it to our room! So we were gonna get double charged if we hadn’t checked. We asked to speak with a manager, but there was none until Tuesday! That’s 2 full days that there was no manager who could help my wife and I!
I can guarantee that we will not be back, unless they figure a way to make it right with us! What a sad 1 year...
Read moreThis hotel was a great disappointment to my husband and I. We wanted to spend a nice get away for our 1 year wedding anniversary, but it was anything but relaxing. When we arrived the front desk lady (Kylie) didn’t greet us. Then when we told her we had a gift card for our stay in the hotel she continually told us she had no idea what she was doing, and there seemed to be no other front desk person around. She proceeded to make room keys for us...and sent us to a room where she “wasn’t sure was located”. After finally finding our room they keys did not work....so we had to find our way back to the lobby with all our luggage. When we got to the front desk again we were quit shocked....Kylie and what seemed to be her boyfriend (who didn’t have a hotel uniform on) we’re sharing a plate of food across the counter from one another! When we told her the room keys didn’t work she continued eating as she took the keys from us and remade them (getting food grease on our keys while she was at it). She & the man with her kept talking to us with food in their mouths. Very unprofessional. We also found out later she had no idea what she was doing and charged our card incorrectly. We were worried for awhile if we would have to pay full price for our stay. Thankfully they figured it out. We were unable to talk to a manager because they were not available...both the Sunday afternoon we checked in and the Monday morning when we left. With over two years of experience with hospitality and countless months spent in hotels because of my fathers work with the military....this is the worst experience I have ever had and am very...
Read moreI honestly don't even know where to start with this place. It's one of those hotels that looks so beautiful that you assume the rooms and service are going to be top tier and you'd be wrong. We paid $324 (for two days mind you WITH A DISCOUNT) for a 'king suite' that didn't have proper cooling, no fridge, no microwave, and the bed was LITERALLY as stiff and hard as the display beds you see at JC Penney.
The staff member who checked me in was very polite but then the girl on the next shift was rude as all get out to my Doordasher because he couldn't find our room (it was a reallllly weird location). I called a week in advance to see if the had public computer and printer access and the clerk told me yes (I didn't catch her name and that's on me). I print papers for my work, so you could imagine my frustration when I found out there was NOT an accessible printer for guests during their stay. Also no washer or dryer for guests which is crazy for a conference center where people often stay for business.
I literally wouldn't visit this hotel again if it was half off. Don't recommend at all. Go somewhere else to stay the night.
Conference room was nice though. So...
