Hummingbird Lodge — Hotel in Avon

My family and I made a trip to Beaver Creek last weekend and decided to splurge and stay at Hummingbird Lodge. Our three bedroom condo was amazing! It was by far money well spent! The privacy of Bachelor Gulch seemed as if we had the whole place to ourselves, but the on site staff was always eager to help if we needed anything. Sandra and Kyle at the front desk helped us with restaurant reservations and airport transportation and were very helpful. My kids loved the hot tubs at Hummingbird and I enjoyed the gym every morning as well. We had Apres ski drinks at the Ritz on Saturday then took the free shuttle back up the hill to Hummingbird! We Stayed 5 days awesome apartment beautiful rooms, large rooms, |Great ski in ski out,|We had an issue with the maintenance and I understand has nothing with the apartment but for 5 days they didn't have the elevators working and we had to carry skies and luggage up and down the stairs..... Not cool !!||I liked the house the view and ski in/out|Awesome for friends and party ||Didn't like how isolated it was ( i guess it comes with ski in/out) but|To go,to from town it was easy but still long with a family with kids,shuttle was easy but the wait to and come back from dinner was inconvenient. |If you forget any grocery item It's a pain|I would go back with adults, grilling out the wonderful deck and get ready for a next ski...
