Relax Inn — Hotel in Bamberg

Stayed for a month @ the rate of approximately $1400 total. I was asked to turn off lights and heat or air many times at my inconvenience . Roaches we're terrible. The heat is not sufficient for the concrete walls and draft from under the doorway, I had to use towels to stuff under entrance and bathroom door to keep cold air out. It snowed a couple days and I had to tape double trash bags along the walls to help keep cold air out. Management was very rude, on the day I left, I had the money on the way to me, but still he began to move my belongings out of the room,threatening to put them in the garbage bin on the curb. I called the chief of Police,he took sides with the hotel owner so love called a friend and her sons to pick me up off the street.I am physically disabled and had not missed a day paying here. I'm currently living in the Relax Inn motel and love it. The staff is very courteous and professional and they work diligently to keep this motel looking as good as it can. They are always cleaning and always available to help. The rooms are old but very nicely furnished and have everything needed, including lots of space. Do not stay here. The room (120) was full of roaches. I can handle one or 2 but at night they all came out. Was planning on staying the week but the roaches are out of control. They gave me a refund and i left as fast as i could after one night.
