Had a wonderful stay here with my husband and 4 yr old twins. We stayed in the A frame which looks small BUT the space was very well utilized and we never felt crowded at all. Our twins actually enjoyed the loft and used it not only to sleep but also for play (there’s a twin mattress up there and cool LED lights!). However, there is plenty to do outside the house so no need to stay inside! Our kids enjoyed exploring the property which also had a dock with direct access to the lake, an older children’s play set and tree house, chicken coop and garden. The owners live on the same property and will interact with you as much or as little as you want. They were kind enough to take our kids to the chicken coop to check for eggs every morning which my kids loved; put up tents for the kids to play in; had fires at night for s’mores. These are the details that really make your vacation… especially when traveling with little ones. Jesse and Geri have put a lot of thought into this rental and it shows! Couldn’t have asked for a better time...

He took turns with all six of our kids and never got cross. Buster is a Golden mix and a talkative good boi. He seems to like ear scritches best.
There is a good launch spot onto Lake Murray for kayaks and canoes, and the little blue A frame on the property looked cozzy for a couple.
They are also working on a glamping spot and camp area.

Read moreThis place is awesome. We wanted to take a long weekend getaway for Thanksgiving Break. The Family wanted to go to Columbia and I wanted to go fishing. So we compromised. The A-Frame cabin was perfect for us and my daughter loved the upstairs loft bed. We were able to go to the Riverbanks Zoo and EdVenture, while also having campfires every night and fishing in between. My daughter and I were able to catch a ton of little sunfish and we were also able to score the all illusive winter catfish! We definitely want to come back in the summer when the weather is warmer and take advantage of the Canoes and warmer water. Jesse the host was awesome and very responsive to messages. We had a great time and like I said we will...
