Stopped here after 9 hours of driving and was exhausted. I didn’t have a reservation but they had a room for me. A King bed suite with a pull out couch. Way more room than a single lady needed. The hotel was right off the I15 and easy to get to. Next door is a Shell station with a Burger King attached.
First impressions of the hotel was that is was clean. Smelled clean but not overtly chemically. You can tell this hotel is well cared for.
My room was clean and tidy with everything needed for my overnight stay. There were plenty of towels, soap, etc. there was even a brown makeup washcloth for removing ones makeup with. Nice touch and I am sure saves the staff when it comes to cleaning! There was even a towel rolled/folded into what I think was an elephant over on the desk.
I watched tv for a while, took a nap and ordered Doordash from Carl’s Jr. Unfortunately Doordash couldn’t find a driver so after an hour or so I canceled and went to the restaurant myself. The town of Beaver seems like a quaint small town. The birthplace of Butch Cassidy!
Back in my room I watched tv for a while before drifting off to sleep. I am traveling with a sprained ankle, broken toes and broken ribs so was tired and hurting. I had plenty of pillows to prop up hurting parts and I actually slept like a baby in the soft bed.
Breakfast was pretty impressive for a hotel breakfast. They had tasty coffee, juice, cereal and milk, oatmeal, yogurt, string cheese, chilled hard boiled eggs, muffins, pastries, bagels and bread (with a toaster). Hot breakfast options were scrambled eggs, sausage links, breakfast potatoes and waffles (I think there was plain and blueberry waffle options but I didn’t partake so I may have been wrong) overall it seemed like they had options for most dietary needs (low carb, gluten free, etc) and options for families with children.
While I was not traveling with my dogs I noticed the place was pet friendly and got to meet a cute Yorkie during my stay.
If I am ever in Beaver Utah I 100% will...
Read moreFirst the good news. We had two rooms. Both rooms were clean with fresh linen and towels. Nothing special. But, it was good to have clean rooms. Now the bad. My wife and I were traveling with my elderly mother. Instead of going through a service like Hotels.com, I called and talked to the front desk. I insisted that we have adjoining rooms. Lady told me no problem. She would take care of it. So, I signed up. Come the night we check in? You guessed it. Our two room did not adjoin. We were several rooms apart - which is unacceptable! The only reason I went with Comfort Inn was because she had guaranteed me adjoining rooms. We checked in during a snowstorm and there was no vacancy anywhere in town so the hotel had me over a barrel. There was nothing that I could do but take the rooms. Also, we were on the second floor. Not bad because they have an elevator, right? Yes, they do have an elevator, but it is not near the lobby. It is at the far end of the hallway. So, my elderly mother had to walk down, get on the elevator and walk back up almost the entire length of the hallway. She is extremely frail and this did not help. Keys that we were given did not work. I had to go get additional keys made. They worked 50% of the time. But, they worked at least. The thermostat in our room did not work properly. Even though we turned up the heat, it would not heat the room more than about 68 degrees. This was a quick overnight trip. Thankfully, I don't have much business in Beaver. I won't...
Read moreThis is the BEST Hotel we have stayed in. We travel all the time and stay at everything from 5 Stars to no stars. This was the cleanest and most comfortable bed and great AC hotel we have stayed in around the country. It had more room then our $1290 a night Suite in 5 Star hotel! The staff is so kind, and they love kids. This Hotel was "Kid Friendly" they welcome family's and have the beds and rooms to accommodate. After a long drive the kids like to hit the iPads, and internet to watch and play live games. The internet was perfect. The AC worked great! the Blackout curtains worked perfect and allowed us to sleep after a long 15hr drive. The Staff was so kind and allowed our family to check in early!! The shower was perfect, soap, towels clean and fresh, the Beds and lining and pillows were so snugly and comfortable. Pull out bed allowed all our kids to sleep. My wife did laundry! and the kids all went swimming in the maculate pool. The Breakfast was great, Hot coffee, orange juice, apple juice, hot coco. Biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, fresh waffles, fruit and banana's. Cereals for the kids. Yogurts, toast and muffins. Parking was safe, I tipped the maids, as this was the cleanest Hotel we had ever stayed in. We stayed 3 more nights while traveling to Wyoming, Montana, and Snowbird Utah.
