Am a top tier diamond/gold/elite member (depending on what they call it) with several chains.||||I use internet for business ... it is not a luxury to watch netflix on and is a necessity for me.||||If the paying client of the motel is not getting the service that they are paying for and the motel has an available empty room that has the ability to supply the services they require .... Do you think the motel management would say sorry for the inconvenience ... we have a room that suits your needs ... no additional charge.||||Do you, reading this review, believe that providing service like that, is and should be standard fare in the hospitality industry ? Would be part of regular and proper customer service? Would you agree ?||||Would you expect management representatives to effectively blame the customer for having an attitude and lack of understanding ?||||In my travels, I have yet to experience any motel from small to large to deny providing an alternative room at no additional charge when available when the initial room did not provide needed services and when it was specifically asked about at check in. I have also yet to date experienced treatment by management representatives (from the disheveled gentleman as noted in another review) in such a way.||||First time for everything right ? ||||Rooms were clean ... I give them that. The rooms I saw, however, were in definite need of updating and repair. I saw and photographed things such as chairs with ripped upholstery, holes in the wall, peeling paint in the corners and water stains on the bathroom cupboards. They say they are upgrading and redoing, which is fine and all the more power to them but from my perspective, it is not there. It is all a process, I understand that and all for supporting mom and pop shops because I have been an owner and understand how challenging it can be.||||The key card however is superior personalized customer service !!! That is why I try and stay at the Indie places because up to my stay here, I have experienced that type of service.||||I voted with my pocket book and chose to cut my stay short and provide this review. In my opinion and experience, there are alternative facilities in the area for same daily rate with much better facilities in all areas. Read moreI stayed here on and off as a locum physician, and I would definitely recommend this motel. Owners are polite, welcoming, friendly and very accommodating. I worked long shifts of 7 days on and 2 days off, so they allowed for my dog to come with me, all the way from the city, (which was 5 hours away), and stay with me in the motel. My dog is well trained and his kennel is his safe place only, and they were absolutely fine if I had to rush to the hospital and leave my dog playing in the room with no need of being in a kennel. My dog never destroyed any property and we both loved it there. . The rooms are very clean and it was my place of choice every week when I came to work. My situation was not unique, they were other folks who worked in different industries but had similar long or variable shifts as mine, and they were treated and accommodated just as well I was treated. If I ever find myself in Beaver agian, I will never make the mistake of staying at any other motel besides...
