Edit: Dee, you are amazing. Thank you for the great customer service. We will be back. 😀
Nicole checked us in and she was the best, helped us upgrade a room, chatted with us, was very helpful and gave us restaurant options. It was a pleasure to meet you! The hotel has a lot of nice features. Indoor heated pool and a seasonal outdoor pool, inside hot tub with the biggest jets I've ever seen. Very spacious and very clean. Be safe getting into the hot tub, it can get very slippery. Once the entire floor of the area of the pool and hot tub gets wet, it gets slippery fast. The pool is five feet and the hot tub is a little over three feet. The hotel has laundry service, the machines cost two dollars each, two dollars for washing, two dollars for drying. There is a soda machine that costs two dollars per soda/water. Pepsi products also offer free ice. They have a small fitness room. The lobby has couches and chairs. They keep the lobby exceptionally clean and a cozy feeling with a fireplace. I don't like the bed because it's not short person friendly, The bed is three feet off the ground. Chair in the room is hard as a rock but the couch in the bedroom is very comfortable. The blanket on the bed is very soft, very warm. They offer a free mini breakfast in the morning from six thirty to nine thirty in the morning. They have an area you can sit and eat. When you are booking make sure which view you want. There's the parking lot view or water view. The water view isn't super close but you can still see it, very beautiful. They allow early check in as long as the room is cleaned and ready. I can't say enough about how friendly the staff is, at least the ones we encountered.
Pricing. All hotels in the summer are expensive, that's just how it is. You pay for what you want. We came here in the winter and prices are more than fair. Very fair and very quiet. You will get a lot of relaxation here. There is plenty of parking. There is two parking lots. They are wheelchair accessible, they have an elevator. They have hearing impaired rooms. They don't allow animals but they do allow service animals as long as you have papers. We had a great time and hope this review encourages more people to stay...
Read moreWe've been to the Belfast Harbor Inn a couple of times and were alwasy satisfied. Nice hotel, beautiful ocean view and standard continential breakfast. We booked again this summer over 4th of July. About 2 weeks before our stay I received an email stating that construction they were doing would not be complete and because of this they would give us a 50% discount for our entire stay. I appreciated the email but was a little concerned about what we might find and if it would affect our trip. When we arrived we noticed the construction but it was on the other end of the building where we were staying. There was no issue with noise and it didn't interfere with our stay. We were also pleasantly surprised to be in one of the beautiful newly renovated rooms, in fact I think we may have been the first guest in the room. I am usually fussy, do the wipe down and always wear socks, but this time I didn't need to. The room was spotless. And finally and more importanly the staff was amazing. The lobby was under construction and the reception area was in one of the guest rooms. The entire staff went above and beyond for thier guest and they did so under challenging conditions. They set up a terrific beakfast every morning in the kitchen with a great selection of muffins, bagles and pastries and beautiful fresh fruit platter and much more - not the standard continential breakfast. I have to commend Luke and the staf for proactivly getting in front of what could have been a problematic situatian and turning it into a excellnt service experience. We will...
Read moreExceeded Expectations. The whole hotel was updated, clean, friendly, good breakfast, an outside eating area, and spacious rooms. We booked directly with the hotel and got a better rate than online. We were told this is a family-run business and they do a great job.
We were two couples in one room for one night. Hotel staff Julian went beyond to help us with check-in and getting us settled in. We enjoyed sitting out on the back patio overlooking the harbor that night. We slept great in the comfortable queen beds, bathrooms spacious, microwave and small fridge in the room. The room was very quiet with windows closed, but you could hear the soft murmur of the road with windows open, and we faced the road. The outside pool in early September was warm and immaculate. They also had an indoor pool and hot tub that other guests were using. We felt the hotel was very clean and staffed with very friendly workers. We wore masks but only half of the staff and guests were wearing them. The breakfast was very good and a masked employee would bag up what you wanted. The selection was yummy muffins, fruit and yogurts, and hard-boiled eggs all individually wrapped. Good coffee and tea layout as well. Would stay here again...
