Hagen's Bark Avenue — Hotel in Bemidji

I took my husky here to get a bath / deshedding treatment done and was quoted it would take at most 2 hours and it took 4. I arrived for pick up (with no phone call to let me know my dog was finished) and my dog was sitting there done, while 2 employees were on their personal cell phones. When we were on our way home I noticed her tail was shaved/cut. They cut her tail without calling to ask me first and it looks like they just took a scissor to it and made a blunt cut. It looked TERRIBLE. When I called to ask why, they acted as if they had no idea what I was talking about or how it happened. Our almost 3 year old Golden Retriever, Ms. Abby, loves going to Bark Avenue groomers. She gives them 5+++ ruffs (human stars) for how nice they take care of her grooming needs. We are so happy that we have such a professional and well maintained place to bring and leave our dog for her grooming needs. I took my dog here for doggy daycare. The first thing I noticed was the place smelled of strong urine. I have never, ever smelled that in any other daycare. I picked up my dog and they said he didn’t go outside because he tried to bite whoever touched him-he’s never snipped or been aggressive.
