We are still in the park but sadly only have a few more days until we leave. Valley Vista RV Resort in Benson Az. 1060 S. HWY 80 is a wonderful place to sit down for a while or even an overnight stay. The park is older but very, very well managed and maintained, with very friendly staff members. There are many large full hook up, pull-thru sites and plenty of back-in sites cable tv included. We stayed in a back-in 30 amp full hook-up site with plenty of room for our 32' class c, a tow dolly and our car. The grounds are impeccably clean and maintained each day (Steve takes care of the grounds and leads you to your site upon check-in) The streets are asphalt and the sites are packed decorative gravel which get raked each time someone leaves. There are some small trees/scrubs on the north side and some shaded sites on the south side and a community fire pit with benches. The bathrooms are upgraded, very clean with plenty of hot water and the laundry room is always clean with 5 coin operated washers and dryers. There is a pool/spa, cabana area, clubhouse, pickle ball court, horseshoe pit and shuffle board on site, a dog park and a pretty sandy wash area to walk, the desert landscape around the park is beautiful to walk through too. The park is located near many attractions such as Tombstone, Bisbee, the Kartchner Caverns, Colossal Caves, Ghost towns, Mescal Movie set, museums and Bowland's "The Thing" travel center and much, much more. Benson itself has a Walmart, Safeway, fast food restaurants, gas stations, small shops and local restaurants, Ice cream shoppe and a few RV repair/supply stores. HWY 80 is not too far off I-10. We will stay here when we are in the area and recommend it to anyone traveling I-10 east to stop in and...

We stayed at Verde River Resort for 7 days on 3/30/2017 We travel in a 39 foot Fifth Wheel, over all length with tow vehicle is 55 feet. Normal stay in a Park is 3 to 7 days. Price is import to us as we always stay in a park with full hook up, water sewer and Electric. You can forget about Wifi in most parks as it always has to many users trying to use it at the same time. Price: GREAT = 10.00 to 20.00, GOOD = 20.00 to 30.00, NORMAL = 30.00 to 40.00, HIGH = 40.00 and up. A little comment about rude mangers and employees at the park or on the phone. ( You normal get what you put out. ) These people answer the same question hundreds of times a day. And the rules in most cases they did not make. My wife and I have stayed in a lot of parks and only had one rude person, we just said thank you for your help, and walk away. The lady saw my wife later and said she was so sorry for being rude and was having a bad day. We all have them, so don't put to much weight on the RUDE ratings. Ratings Price - Good, Pull-thru, Level - Ok, CATV - No, Over the air TV - fair Laundry Room - Yes, good and clean The park was clean and management/ employees were very helpful with where to eat and what to do in the area. Some park remodeling in progress, no problem to us. We would stay at the Park if we come...

A little slice of Arizona Heaven!

I loved my stay at Valley Vista RV Resort! The staff were all so very nice and helpful. The resort is easy to find off the interstate and once in the park, the office is easy to pull up to. I found this place using google maps and that was a plus for me. The marketing staff must have done a good job of making sure they were listing correctly.

The resort is mostly gravel but nearly all the spaces looked like they were pull throughs. I have a van and didn't need that option but it's nice to know. The sewer, water and electric were easy to hook up to. They have both 30 and 50 amp and 2 spigots for water. I was there when it was not very busy and found it nice and quite at night.

The pool area is well maintained and easy to access. It is closed at night and open again in the morning. They have a Jacuzzi as well. The restrooms are also very clean as was the laundry area. I had a nice cup of free coffee in the morning in the common room and watched some news on big screen TVs. They have a large library, nice office and lots of local activity brochures. I highly recommend Valley Vista RV Resort for an overnight or longer stay. I definitely will...

My husband and I stayed at Valley Vista for half a year, arriving in October '22 and leaving in April '23. It's an awesome RV resort about 1.5 miles from Benson, a small town. The place is perfect getaway whether you're staying short or long-term, and it's for people who are 55 or older, so it's pretty quiet. We met nothing but friendly and respectful folks there. The spots are spacious so it was very easy for us to back in. It's about an hour away from Tucson and half an hour from Sierra Vista, where you can do some serious shopping. But Benson has what you need too, with a Walmart and Safeway. There's even a gas station next door with a small shop for any essentials you might need. I want to give a big shout-out to the staff - Vivian, Linda, Jim, Steve, Scott, Lisa, and Brenda - they made us feel right at home. Vivian went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. You guys rock! If we ever come back to this area, we'll definitely come back to Valley Vista.

This is a good-sized park in Benson and is part of the Thousand Trails/Encore system. It appears to be an older park. There is easy access off the main road. The park is very open with only a few trees. Sites are gravel and dirt as are the roads within the park. Overall the park was very clean but we did not use any of the common areas. Sites are pretty level but no perfect. Some blocks were needed on one side. Hookups are very convenient. No issue with satellite and Verizon and AT&T had good service. Wifi is provided by Jabba but we used our AT&T hotspot. We had a pull through site which was probably 100 feet long and a decent width as well.
