This year wifi relays were updated, safety ladders to the roof of some buildings were added, some great entertainment and speakers, and a can crusher added to the recycle station. All powered by the community here. If you come but are unable to physically help out, there are several at home opportunities to participate in like the channel 5 station, cooking food for auctions in the park, and more. Everyone is welcomed to pitch in as much or a little, and the staff is grateful to have you. If you come for the winter before you leave, be sure to check out the gardens, all powered by residents who are short and long term lease holders. What a fabulous place to enjoy the spring season. Also, there is a group of volunteers to help you park and find your space. Security onsite, no worries about outsiders checking this park out. Everyone has parking tags AND now volunteers have name tags for those who are long term volunteers. What other park in Cochise County does that! This is an amazing community of people, a super quiet park at night, helpful residents, super nice staff members, and a beehive of happy helpful volunteers. What more...
Read moreSKP Saguaro Co-op is not your average RV park. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and, ah, the flowers in spring! I am continually awestruck by mountain views, making for amazing sunrises and sunsets. Theres freedom from coats and boots...wearing shorts in the winter..ahh.
People are outside hiking, walking their dogs, bicycling, playing musical instruments, creating art. Theres a woodshop and a metal shop! The clubhouse is massive and buzzing with things to do. Activities all the time. You can stay busy or relax in your casita or outside in your lot. Biggest I have seen.
And, best of all is that people who live here, my neighbors, keep this haven running. Effortlessly. Everyone is a volunteer, and we love what do. I oversee the Dogpark. My boys look forward to running free and playing. Its magic.
Come and visit! Its like...
Read moreAfter making this awesome place my home for over a year, I must say I cannot find any negatives. It is the opposite of every park I have experienced. Being a co-op, it is operated completely different from other RV parks. There are no managers who are biased and show favoritism. It is simply everyone working in harmony to make everything the best it can be. It is the cleanest, most attractive, well organized, well run park imaginable. In addition, you will enjoy every necessary amenity you may ever need. From the huge, modern clubhouse to the incredibly well appointed and fully stocked workshop where you can build, repair or improve just about anything you desire. SKP Saguaro is not only a park but a true community where the people make it the highest quality of life possible. I am blessed and forever grateful to be...
