The Lakehouse Inn at Sledd Creek — Hotel in Benton

We stayed here recently because of the glowing reviews and while it was a nice place it was far from perfect.We stayed in the larger of the two cabins. What we enjoyed- *The pool was nice and had great ambiance at nice. *It felt safe and was very quiet. Manger was pretty responsive with needs. Cabin was pretty clean. Had some places where you could tell hadnt been cleaned in months ie bathroom baseboards, lamps, a few other areas. *Outdoor games were fun. *Affordable Cabin had dishs, microwave, and fridge so it was easy to bring leftovers back to the room.

The not so great No coffee in the room for the maker, Very loud window Ac units that made it difficult to sleep. The one in the living room smelled like cigarette smoke and the change filter light was on. Glad my husband checked because EVERY WINDOW WAS UNLOCKED. This is a serious safety issue that was very unnerving to me. Took us a half hour to lock all the windows because they were all misaligned and difficult. The front window did not lock at all and we had to use a spatula to lock it shut. The lobby was very nice but I never felt welcome to just hang out in there because the manager lady was always hovering, so I would just leave. I love this place! We had my daughters birthday here back in August. She wanted a pool party with sleepover and it was perfect! The staff was so friendly and even brought out stuff for s’mores for the girls!

They have 2 brand new pools - 1 shallow good for laying out or little kids, 1 deeper 3-5 feet. Plenty of seating around the pool with lots of floats. No one was there but us because the pool is only open to guests except on special events when they have live music

They have a picnic area with 6 picnic benches, lots of outdoor games: jumbo connect 4, table tennis, corn hole, etc.

Their fire pit was just put in and was the coolest I have seen!

All of the rooms are newly redone. They are so clean and comfortable. They have a kitchenette with small fridge, microwave and coffeemaker.

We got the suite which had a king room connected to a double queen room each with their own kitchenette/bathroom

We have recommended this place to all family coming to visit and will be back in December! I am a little bummed we won’t be able to enjoy the pool but we can still do the outdoor games and fire pit. It’s so close to the lake and patty’s so there will be plenty to...

We ended up at the Lake House Inn by accident, we had booked a room at Kentucky Dam village through Expedia, when we got there to check in, they did not get the memo from Expedia and they had no rooms available. Panic set in, so i started googling some places to stay and Lake House Inn poped up, I agve them a call and they had rooms available, THANK GOD! When we arrived the front desk staff was extremely nice! We got all settled in and ready for the weekend.

The Lake House Inn's back ground story is nothing short of amazing! I loved reading it. This amazing establishment has beautiful clean rooms, an amazing outdoor area with several games, a beautiful fire pit, beautiful land scaping and an exceptional pool. Rhe new owners did a phenomenal job on the renovation. All the staff have been extremely nice and this will definitely be our new place to stay when we come to Kentucky Lake. Everything happens...
