Windmill Motel — Hotel in Bernardston

I have always loved coming here , it is a basic motel room. Nice comfortable beds, flat screen Tv, basic cable. Free Wi-Fi. Rooms are clean, everytime I have checked in. The price is affordable!! $240/weekly rate . Around $30-$40 a night . You get microwave and fridge in your room, sometimes you have to ask for them if their not in your room, because they clean them after every checkout. They make their own rules , but their way better then any hotel or motel I been to. You can't complain with the price you pay for it. The owners are super friendly .. they have a restaurant connected to their house , for anyone to eat at , if you stay at the motel you get 40% off, and the restaurant is cheap as it is. You can't go wrong checking into this motel. I have been here for s week and I live it. It's quiet and the owners are friendly as can be. You get towels, trash bags, and soap, and tolit paper daily as needed. Anyone leaving bad reviews about the place, only came in and started pointing out the negative. When I came my bed sheet had a stain on it and on the mattress , I made them aware of it, and thy brought me need sheets and A NEW MATTRESS !This place is a great motel. & No it is NOT RUN DOWN. BETTER & CHEAPER THEN ANY HOTELS - MOTELS IN Greenfield - Bernardstan. Windmill Motel deserves a ,5 star rating...

The front door was locked when we arrived in the middle of the day. After it was opened we were rushed by a dog that according to the clerk "has been known to bite". We were given one room that stunk of stale cigarettes so were moved to another that only stunk of stale cigarettes after we turned on the heat.

The blankets were thin with holes worn through and the bed was creaky and lumpy, the pillows were thin, there was mold and mildew in the bathroom and shower, the water could not get past luke warm...

It is what it is....it's simple basic to the point.....I never had any smoke smell issues or any issues with the bed I've stayed several times. Breakfast in the mornings Saturday and Sunday, however, you pay.
