BE AWARE. Unfortunately I would advise against staying here. My boyfriend and I were so excited for a fun and relaxing trip with our dog in the treehouse. Him and I are constantly looking for unique adventures. Upon arrival, we noticed there were multiple active wasp nests. (This may be useful information for those who are allergic.) After dropping our bags off, we went to go get dinner. We returned and quickly noticed there was a cockroach infestation. We encountered more than 8 within one hour. On the floor, walls, and bed. I spoke with the owner at 1am because we could not sleep there nor sleep in our vehicle overnight. The owner seemed to be aware of this problem, yet hasn't took action. I was told I would be refunded (booked via Airbnb) However when I called Airbnb to confirm the refund was being processed, I was informed nothing was on file regarding a refund. I am glad I reached out to Airbnb, I do not think they would have refunded me. After messaging the owners, it seemed as if they were extremely concerned about their reputation and reviews. I told them I wish I had came prepared and advised about wasps and cockroaches but that I would leave a good review just because of how "understanding" they seemed. However they decided to leave me a review stating I made "false claims" about the cockroaches. I will attach photos of the cockroaches, wasps nest, and unclean light fixture. Proving that that l indeed did not make "false claims" about the cockroaches. I absolutely would advise staying elsewhere this experience was not worth the time or money. If you are looking for a unique experience I recommend looking into the Loblolly Pines Adventure Camp in Eureka Springs, AR.

We stayed at Riverdream at a campsite. I do believe the pictures aren’t very recent. The grounds weren’t super well maintained, my partner suffered a puncture wound on the shore from old rusted barb wire that was sticking up out of the ground. There were no biting fish all weekend, the water level was so low!! I would imagine with normal water level the River area accessible to the campers wouldn’t be more space than a couple chairs. The walk to and from the river to the campsites is quite a bit longer than advertised with a steep incline to climb up from the water. The camp sites are SMALL. We had to move sites just to be able to set up our tents and cooking canopy (campsite 6 is where we ended up) campsite 7 was which on we were assigned and just our 1 tent wouldn’t fit there. Thank goodness there was an open spot next to us. The bathrooms were clean and were private with a toilet and shower. But the “climate control” was minimal at best, did not see an actual ac unit, but there was a vent cut to the outside. Communication was poor because there was 0 cell service(which wasn’t horrible overall) but to buy wood or have a simple inquiry we had to go and knock on the owners personal residence, which felt very intrusive. We never saw anyone making rounds or checking in with campers. Overall I probably wouldn’t tent camp there again. I did not see the other cabins or bell tents, those facilities might have been better

Understand, I'm not necessarily trying to give this place a bad review, but compared to our extensive amount of camping experiences, this would most definitely be at the bottom for a couple of reasons. 1st, the site my wife reserved was supposed to be 45'. My toy hauler is 29'. After parking the camper, I had to park my truck perpendicular to the camper, and the truck was still on the road. So I'd have to say the site was 35'. Not 45'. Second, having a toy hauler, our clean out is located in the center. 4 hoses would not reach their waste hookup, which is not their fault, but the drive to go get more house would've been over an hour round trip. Also, where the waste and water was was literally less than 2' from our neighbors' tent set up next to us. Sites were extremely small, causing minimal privacy. The trek to the river was a good hike. About 1000'+. Terrain was flat until you got to the woodline. Then it was dirty sand dunes and a small cliff to get to water. The water was ankle deep, the whole 20' across. So, it's not very enjoyable if you want to get wet. We went on the 4th of July and left less than an hour later, relinquishing our $350+. I do not suggest older people go, especially in July and August. River is too low, and the trek to it would be rough cause of the heat. If they allowed 4 wheelers or some kind of cart that you can ride to the river, it would be a lot better place. Definitely in the middle of nowhere, which didn't bother me. Great place for the younger generation. Not very comfortable for the older or disabled. Would have loved this place in my younger years for sure. I'm permanently totally disabled, and in my mid 50's, so that's why this place was a challenge to us. Our site was #8, and my kids'...

The host was VERY responsive, kind and flexible for our last minute reservation only hours prior to needing to check in (we booked somewhere else and it was nightmare-ish) we arrived about 9:30 pm, the host personally led us to two open sites and let us choose what we wanted, the sites were very large and divided by a near 10 ft wooden fence, very private. The grass was mowed, there were picnic tables, a hammock and trees for shade. And one of the most notable things is there was power and running water at each site! Bathrooms were a short walk away, with coded entry, there were 4 individual rooms and they were lockable, spacious, as we both shared one bathroom and had plenty of space to freshen up and change clothes, very clean and well kept, regular functioning toilet, sink and mirror and a full sized shower with soap and shampoo and conditioner. They have many options for camping, tent sites, RV sites and multiple different cabin options. I only saw the inside of one of them, but it was beautiful, simple but clean and well kept and private. Our site was a very short walk to the nearby crystal clear river, where we enjoyed skipping rocks, walking in the water and spotting local wildlife. Overall this place is very peaceful, no fuss, right off the beaten path, you can easily drive through the entire space with a regular car, no 4x4 needed, the host was great, we enjoyed a very peaceful and quiet night under the stars. We will definitely visit...
