A Five-Star Family Retreat
We’ve stayed in plenty of cabins in Big Bear and from the moment we set foot into this stylish Airbnb, we knew our family had struck gold! Tucked away in a location that can only be described as 'fantastic,' this well-appointed haven became our temporary slice of paradise.
Sparkling clean from the ground up, we marveled at the thoughtful touches that made our stay seamless. With three cozy bedrooms—master on the main level and two inviting retreats upstairs—there was plenty of room for moments of quiet reflection after each day's adventure.
The heart of our memories, though, was the magnificent deck that seemed to beckon us with its inviting BBQ area, ready for grilling up family favorites. As the stars emerged, we gathered around the crackling fire pit, our laughter mingling with the crackle of the flames—the perfect outdoor sanctuary for both two-legged and four-legged family members.
Our fluff companion was in heaven, exploring every nook with tail-wagging enthusiasm, and we felt equally carefree knowing that everything a traveling pack could need was already here waiting for us. "Just bring your food and clothes," they said, and they were right—it was that simple!
Decompressing in this charming abode, we've made memories that twinkle like constellations. Whether lounging indoors, where comfort meets chic, or inhaling the beauty of the surrounding area, every moment here has been nothing short of splendid.
Here's our roar of approval: This Airbnb is the ultimate family and pet-friendly getaway that leaves nothing to be desired—except a longer stay. We're already dreaming of...
Read moreThis cabin is just perfect! Location is so close to Bear Mountain (5 min) and Big Bear Mountain (10 min). You even drive past the Big Bear Zoo! (Next visit for sure) Extremely convenient location yet tucked away to have the quiet mountain experience. I cannot say enough how charming this cabin is. Must have been built in the 60’s or 70’s but has been renovated. The owners left just enough of the original charm but with modern design and updated amenities. You seriously only need to bring your clothes and food! There is even a washer and dryer… the dryer was a blessing! The kitchen has pretty much everything you need. The bathrooms come with plenty of towels, TP and “hotel” bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body soap which we used and were great! Living room has a nice large couch and huge TV over the fireplace. There are plenty of blankets and even a few games. The beds are comfy and the master bedroom is plenty big enough to put a pack and play for a little one. Truly a gem and will be staying here for sure...
Read moreI stayed at Big Bear Moonridge Cabin with a few friends and had an awesome time! The cabin has a real old school feel with it’s “A” frame and original knotty pine interior, while still having all of the modern amenities you could hope for. The back deck is the perfect place to drink coffee in the mornings, play cards in the afternoon, and sit around the fire pit table at night. It was easy to get to The Village and convention center for Oktoberfest with the local taxi service. There are so many great places to eat and drink nearby, we were very pleasantly surprised! The cabin is also super close to the golf course, Bear Mountain, the zoo, the alpine slide, escape rooms, axe throwing bars, hiking, kayaking, and shopping. We had a great stay and can’t wait to come...
