The hotel is not open yet, but we made the trek in the snow to have a drink in the ski lodge and see the property. The setting is breathtaking - private with views for miles. The lodge and surrounding structures are a spectacular example of contemporary architecture that harmonizes with the beautiful surrounding landscape. The color palette is warm and inviting, with whimsical touches that balance the concrete and steel. As one would expect in a property of this caliber, the staff was extremely attentive and friendly. The hand-over-heart greeting from each employee is unique and genuine. The Landing in the ski lodge is the only restaurant/bar open at present, and is worth a visit, whether by car or ski gondola. Local craft beers and a creative, if eclectic, menu combine with a gorgeous expanse of glass in the dining room that almost makes you feel as if you are sitting amongst the trees. Rather than make the entire property a private, guests only affair, The One and Only has smartly opened this amazing space to the public, and are eager to have locals see what they have created. The ownership group is using something like 10% of the land they acquired, the rest remaining natural and undeveloped, which preserves the privacy and views. It will be exciting in May when the remaining restaurants and hotel open. Definitely...

My daughter and I went to lunch at the lodge at the One & Only I believe its called The Landing. We had such a excellent meal we had the escargot, foie gras and chicken schnitzel. It was so rich and delicious, the cocktails were unique mixed to perfection by the mixologist and our service was clearly outstanding. We both felt welcomed the moment we walked into this incredible atmosphere and loved the scenic views of all the surrounding mountains. The outdoor space was breathtaking, it definitely felt like a true Montana paradise we will be coming back for dinner as soon as we get back up to Moonlight Basin to enjoy this culinary delight. The hotel doesn't open until June of 2025, we are looking forward to staying there and enjoying all the amenities this architectural masterpiece has to offer. What a...

Brought in a Thyssenkrupp flatpack elevator for the O&O at Big Sky (3/7).

Crew was ready to work at dawn's early light. Untapped, destrapped and offloaded in a timely manner. Crew was efficient with a knowledgeable operator behind the controls.

The only con was the lay down area was on a snow packed road that was the main thoroughfare. Chance of being bumper bait by a California plated Subaru driver is high.

O&O looks to be a great vacation destination in the making. This was our third trip in from out of...

The One&Only Moonlight Basin officially opens next week. This is the first One&Only resort and residences in the United States. Set in one of the world’s most coveted mountain destinations. The resort features 73 rooms and suites, 19 private villas, a dedicated ski lodge, and a spa. It also introduces the inaugural collection of One&Only Private Homes in the U.S. which are 62 striking residences with expansive glass walls that frame Big Sky’s iconic mountain vistas. Cradled between Lone Peak and the Spanish Peaks, this secluded hideaway celebrates Montana’s raw grandeur. A private gondola grants access to over 5,800 acres of world-class skiing with complimentary ski and snowboard valet and day lockers. The O&O gondola offers direct access to the Madison Base area of Big Sky Resort. And new this season is Madison 8, an eight-seat, state-of-the-art D-line chairlift, doubling the uphill capacity. The resort also offers mountain golf, year-round adventures, and six bars and restaurants, including @chefakiraback’s namesake modern Japanese restaurant. About an hour drive from Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport and a gateway to Yellowstone National Park, O&O Moonlight Basin sits at the heart of untouched wilderness.
