The stay was mid overall. The price was good and the sound of the amenities from the website was good, but it wasn’t great once we actually got there. Got a room on the 4th floor. Room was overall not too bad, some cleanliness things here and there, dusty baseboards behind doors/ corners, some paint chipping, but overall not terrible. The issues were outside the room. First of all, up on the 4th, it appeared that there are several hornet nests outside the windows. We were in an area where where the window was next to where the drainage pipes came down from the roof. So many hornets swarming around outside the windows. Fine because they are out side, but they were not. We did find 1 hornet inside, obviously there must be small holes they can squeeze in. We saw him then he disappeared, so we left him. Found him half dead the next morning. Not an amazing visitor to have in my hotel room. Next was the tv. The website and guest services menu says we have several tv options including streaming services. Our tv has 5 local channels that were all fuzze and terrible quality, all playing a Trump press conference. Awesome... No streaming, nothing. Tried messing around with the cords and boxes and remote trying to fix it and nothing. called down to the desk and she told us to restate the tv. Obviously didn’t work. She said she would “try” to have maintenance come look at it, if not it would be tomorrow. Super helpful considering we were checking out at 8am; not. Got a call on the room phone around 10pm but we were winding down for bed, it was too little too late. The pool. Nasty. Clumps of hair and dirt on the ground. If you look at the vent high up on the ceiling, you can see it is absolutely caked in dust. Dark and dingy in there. The patio was closed for construction. There were dead bugs all over the lobby and walk ways. And the icing on the cake was that the elevator was broken. We are ok taking the stairs, but come on. This is a hotel with several floors, how does the elevator break like that. I have traveled so much and never been in a hotel where the elevator was broken. Overall it wasn’t great but wasn’t the worst. You get what you pay for with this one. Honestly the fact that you get a nice big suite is the benefit of this place. Location is nice too, about 25 minutes from the city. The service was fine too, the front desk ladies were nice enough. It’s just the fact that they clearly need more staff to fix the several issues this place has. I would book again for a quick nights stay where you don’t do much besides...

$4,900+ for June 15 - July 19
Long term hotel Suites for long term hotel guests. If you bring less than 4 weeks worth of clothes you probably need to do laundry.
The rooms don't come with laundry baskets. Great. Go downstairs and ask for a trashbag to carry your laundry. "No we can only give you these tiny bags without handles." Great. Thank you. I'll carry 4 bags downstairs with a bottle of detergent.
The laundry is not included. The machines take card, however, there's a $0.25 convenience fee for using card. Because, you don't want to inconvenience the inanimate machine, You sign up for an app on your phone. Great. Add your personal debit card to this insecure laundry app. There's another $0.25 convenience fee if you want to load less than $10 onto your account. Great. $10 into this app. Timer says 46 minutes, come back in 1.5 hours and it'll be done. Great. Put it in dryer. The app gives me an ad for Lemonade. Great. Hour goes by. Still damp. Great. It's 11pm I'll just lay em out I guess. Helpful emails from the laundry app ignite fresh love for this hotel every time they come up. Great.
3 spiders. Probably coming in from the broken AC unit. Keeps the room nice and moist. Pretty uncomfortable to sleep and get back to extremely laborious work installing 130lbs lead acid batteries. The 3rd spider was right on the back of my neck when my hand found it.
It is what it is. I don't blame any one person, this system was set up this way. I'm not going to blame a manager or staff. The average Homewood Suites by Hilton Division Manager yearly pay in Billerica is approximately $62,450, which is 31% below the national average. Even they get shafted by the company.
The CEO of Hilton is Christopher Nassetta, who who received a total compensation of $27.96 million, which includes a base salary of $1.3 million. Of course my hotel room is going to have issues. Why would he take a cut to make sure his hotels were habitable? This is AMERICA BABY 🇺🇸 Hilton stock is $273 today and they barely release a dividend. Put ads in the washing machine, why not.
Added a star because the breakfast was great. If you wanted you could get a whole plate of pulled chicken and douse it with multiple...

This is, without a doubt, the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. If you value your belongings or your peace of mind, do not stay here. Here’s why:
Theft and No Accountability During my stay, my belongings were stolen from my room. When I confronted the front desk, they admitted that only housekeeping could have had access but offered no immediate resolution. They promised an investigation and a resolution, but after six days of silence, I followed up. A staff member told me that unless I kept pressuring them, they’d likely drag it out until I left. When I finally spoke to the front desk manager, they said they’d check who accessed the room but wouldn’t take any further action without “proof” that their staff was responsible. This is unacceptable. I canceled the rest of my reservation and moved to a Marriott down the road, where I received professional treatment. My company has since blacklisted this location, and I will never stay with Hilton again—they can keep their points.
Unprofessional Staff The staff here are glued to their cell phones, from the front desk to housekeeping. It’s incredibly frustrating to wait at the front desk while the employee finishes texting or to dodge distracted staff in the hallways because they’re not paying attention to where they’re walking.
Breakfast for Employees? The complimentary breakfast is supposed to be for guests, but staff were eating alongside us. It’s unprofessional and makes the already limited breakfast options feel even more scarce. Waiting for an employee to finish eating while they’re on the clock is beyond frustrating. To top it off, the coffee was watered down and undrinkable.
Terrible Internet The internet was painfully slow, making it impossible for me to conduct virtual meetings. To make matters worse, the area has bad cell reception, leaving me without alternatives. I had to find a different location to work from, which was a major inconvenience.
Final Thoughts The theft alone should deter anyone from staying here, but the unprofessional staff, poor amenities, and lack of accountability make it clear that this hotel is not worth your time or money. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere...
