I recently visited Satang Infinity with a group for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Upon arrival, we noticed the parking lot was almost empty, and we were the only customers in the restaurant, which made for a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally attentive and friendly, consistently repeating our orders back to us, which I always appreciate as it shows good attention to detail.
The presentation of the food was impressive, and the drinks were beautifully served. However, while the dishes were visually appealing, the flavor was more on the average side. I ordered the Pad Thai with half the sweetness, but I still found it to be overly sweet for my taste. My brother ordered the drunken noodles and mentioned he developed a headache from the high sugar content. It's a bit of a concern that the sweetness in both dishes overshadowed the more subtle, traditional flavors. On the other hand, I found the Japanese items on the menu more to my liking. I would recommend sticking with those next time--I'm already considering trying the sushi and skipping the Thai dishes altogether.
One positive note: parking was plentiful, and the restaurant is conveniently located just off the highway, making it easy to find. While this visit didn't quite impress me enough to make Satang Infinity a top pick, it wasn't a bad experience overall. I'd consider giving it a second chance, especially to explore the sushi offerings. There's potential here, but the Thai options need a bit...
Read moreI made dinner reservations for 5 people. My party arrived and the waitress would not let them sit on the low table because she claimed the reservation was only for 3 people; I have the email confirming the 5. The restaurant was not full and there were plenty of tables. Though it’s not our preference, we took the high table seat without a fuss. Then the issue continued with the same waitress who was very evasive and flippant. She would walk away in the middle of taking an order; she wouldn’t really answer any of our questions without a shrug or blank stare. We had a child with us with a few serious allergies, and we came here on the basis that there was a gluten free menu. We didn’t see such a menu. Another waitress eventually took over. She was more attentive and kind. However, when it came to taking an order for the child, there weren’t very many options and we asked for specific details on the menu items which the waitress went back to the chef to confirm. We settled for asparagus and plain rice. We paid our bill and left, however, when the child came home he started having an allergic reaction. When we googled what was in the asparagus, it turns out it was made with sesame oil! We weren’t told that and that wasn’t on the menu. Despite the many issues we had that night, we chose to enjoy the food and company; however, putting sesame oil in food especially when an allergy has been...
Read moreMy friend and I love Thai food. Tried this place last night. It was empty on a Saturday night at 6:30, first red flag, but we wanted to give it a chance. Asked for a high-top; seated right away at a 5-6 person table; weird. But, OK. It took at least 10 minutes for someone to take a drink order. I ordered a Gin Martini, friend ordered a glass of wine. Martini was mostly water and wine glass was barely filled. Ordered appetizers: Steamed Shumai and a Patriots Sushi roll. Order came out...First bite of Shumai, my friend got a hair in her bite. Called over the waitress, who profusely apologized and put in another order (charged us for it, which is ok because it was fresh, but would have been nice to comp it for the mistake). Ate most of the Shushi roll, but it was "mushy" and my friend said it tasted "fishy". We couldn't finish it. Main dishes were Ramen Soup and Tom Yum Soup, which we both enjoyed. We left saying it was just OK. Checked in with each other this morning and we were both very sick over night and in the morning. Stomach Cramps, Diarrhea. Definitely...
