Stopped by to see the area because my husband used to take old tractors in the 80s to the tractor show. We showed up at the office and called the number, and a wonderful volunteer took us around the grounds. We went into the large tractor building, and they were amazing to look at. We then went to the household museum, which by far was one of the best smaller museums we've been to! It was so neatly organized by interest areas and was expanding as we speak. The car building was neat, too, along with the old sod house and school. We unfortunately didn't get to see all of the stuff in the other buildings because we didn't have enough time, and some of them were not open yet for tours. It's definitely a neat place for kids and adults to stop by and see. And it's free - of course, please make a donation!

A true Kansas experience not to be missed. Year round perfect Harvest Hosts as well. Bucolic setting where endless horizon of fields meet open skies. Learn about the history of farming with museums, hundreds of antique equipment, tractors, plows, trucks etc. In the July event visit 40 or so hangars while attending shows. The owners are kind and welcoming and allow guests freedom and relaxation on their BIG slice of paradise. Thank you for your hospitality on my road trip Harvest Host stopover! 🙏🏼

I am here at a non festival time all alone. It is the definition of peaceful. If I could live somewhere like this at this exact temperature (80) year round it would be no contest. I am traveling in a motorhome with 2 dogs and we have enjoyed exploring. I have also set my chair in the shade by the sod house to knit. What a deal for $15-20 donation. Thanks so much.
