Los Jarochos — Restaurant in Bird City

I came in by necessity, I've seen this place on the road a million times and always said, "someday". Well today, fate had it out for me and demanded I run out of time to drive if I didn't take a break before I got where I wanted to, and this was where I chose and well worth the stop, so good I hope to stop again. I had the lunch #6 burrito jarocho, it was delicious. The only problem with the service is that I don't speak Spanish well enough to communicate, otherwise, they were very polite and the food was ready very quickly. The atmosphere is great but can't decide if it's a cheap Mexican restaurant or a Christian coffee shop. But the food makes it worth the trouble and a plush, there is truck parking for those eating there. Oh, and it is handicap accessible, though the ramp and door are narrow, so if you're stopping though and don't know if it's big enough for you to get your mobility devices through the door you may need...

Great food and fast! We had around 20 people in total from our family memorial service meet for lunch here. We didn't have long to wait for the entire meal to be served. The kids didn't even have a chance to complain. The prices were very fair, especially for the portions!

Everyone fell on their food too quickly for pictures... But it was amazing! My only regret is getting regular instead of hot sauce. My Texas taste buds were expecting a bit more heat, but that's on me and my expectations. No one else seemed to...

Overall this place was awesome! Their food was great, the tamales weren't dry like most other places. Their rice was super tasty and full of flavor, and paired wonderfully with their food. The quesadilla was tasty and chicken packed. While ordering the person had a very friendly welcoming tone, got all of our orders right.
