We went for a family vacation with a toddler and 3 month old. Second week of July. We actually had a really great time. Rooms don’t have AC but for the most part, it was perfect temperature with the windows open. One of the closets was big enough to put our pack in play in, with an outlet and pocket door, so our toddler loved her privacy and could plug in her tablet to relax and watch her shows. The kitchen was small but was not a problem cooking for 8 adults and 3 kids. It’s close to town and beautiful surroundings. Our in-laws brought their RV and was able to park(no hook ups). The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They have 3 washers and 3 dryers free to use( not a conflict for us but imagine during the busy season they will be in use around the clock). The saltwater pool and towels were great, not cool or well decorated, but beautiful view of mountains and great temperature. Restaurant had fantastic cheese curds and coloring papers for kids. My add on would be that if you don’t sleep well on hard mattresses, bring a topper. My husband and I are used to a king memory foam and were in horrible pain the first morning, we slept in separate queen beds for the rest of the trip, which helped... but next year we will definitely vacuum pack a Costco mattress topper(about $100 on sale) which will take up minimal space once in a space bag. I was going to bring our spare, but took the husbands advice 😣 he asked me why I listened to him when We woke up that morning. My second add on would be bring an over the door hook for towels, if you have more than one person per bathroom. There are hooks in the hall, but with jackets and diaper bags... and it’s in the hall, there wasn’t much space for hanging towels. We were constantly moving towels around. We will definitely be back next year with a few modifications and hopefully it will be an even better trip

The Lodge is a comfortable place to stay, and we appreciated the helpful staff. The rooms we stayed in were in reasonable shape, on par with other timeshare units we’ve visited, and the beds were comfortable. The couch was comfy and all the TVs and appliances worked. One highlight was the heated indoor pool. It is a saltwater pool, which we greatly preferred over the typical over-chlorinated hotel pool experience. 👍 I’d have appreciated a bit larger kitchen area for our family of six to cook 2-3 meals a day for a week, but it did have the basics we needed. That said, the knives in the kitchen were garbage. I bought one at the grocery store to be able to do basic meal prep. The pots and pans were passable, but not great. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would come back.

We visited in October 2020 and the Covid restrictions were extremely tight and nothing was open. Finally the last night we were there at the restaurant and outdoor area were open and we were able to enjoy our condo amenities a little bit. The room was OK and the views are stellar. Colorado is much more strict than where we came from with regard to the spread of Covid, at that time I researched and there they had only been four covid related fatalities in the entire county yet they were succumb by fear and a bit rude to travelers because of it. We went during an unusual time I would definitely give it a second chance.

First of all - the info on the website about having to call and reconfirm booking does not appear valid. I tried both listed phone numbers and the email address and never got a response. I finally called the parent company in Kansas (Global Connections 913-210-5930) and that person was able to confirm my booking. That person also called Lodge by the Blue on my behalf and had a Lodge by the Blue person call me. So, I did finally talk to someone. The main reason you need to call is if you are going to arrive after 5pm - after which point the front door is locked and the front desk is not manned. However, there is an after hours phone number posted on the front door that you could call to be let in. If you will arrive before 5pm, it doesn't matter.|Aside from the pre-call check-in process, the lodge is very comfy. We had a 1 bedroom suite with a decent-sized kitchen, and the one room with sofa, loveseat, kitchen table, and a balcony (which we didn't use because it was cold). There were just two of us (me and my son) and we were comfy. Two queen beds, comfy bedding, extra blankets. | Adding 1 or 2 more people would make it a bit of a squeeze, but that's how it goes with condos. The kitchen was adequately stocked for cooking. Full-size fridge, dishwasher, gas stove, microwave, coffee pot (basket filters), tea kettle, etc. They will start you off with a couple packets of coffee, but you will need to buy more if you are here for more than 2 days. There is a separate room for your skis (get the key from the front desk). Plenty of parking. The pool & hot tub was not functional while we were there. |The lodge does have a restaurant and bar, but it was not open when we were there. Apparently the place is run by 3 people, so if one person is away, various amenities are shut down. The Lodge is about 10 min outside of Breckenridge. There is a bus that goes by, but I suggest having a car. It would not be easy to survive here just using public transportation.|There is a public space for all guests to use. There is a big fireplace and tables so you can do a puzzle or play a game. There are two treadmills and some weights. There are also puzzles, books movies, you can borrow. There is a ping-pong table and other games. There are free washing machines and dryers on the bottom floor, but you need to bring your own laundry detergent. It is a comfy place and I would...

This marks the second and last time I will be staying here. The property is extremely underwhelming, the location is inconvenient, the amenities are next to none, and the cleanliness of our unit was sketchy at best. Not to mention, the customer service leaves lots of room for improvement. They are very clear about check in being at 4:00 pm with absolutely no exceptions made for those who may need an earlier time. They are also very clear about the fact that the staff leaves at 5:00 pm. And even though the posted signage states 6:00 pm on Fridays, there was no staff in sight after 5:00. All of this would have been fine, had they had my accommodations ready at 4:00. Given the tight window to interact with someone at the front desk, I was very disappointed when they did not have my room ready for check in at 4:00. I arrived at 4:30 and was told that my room wasn’t done being cleaned. No apologies for the inconvenience. This would have even been forgivable had my room actually been cleaned! However, once we were checked into the unit, we found hair everywhere, the sink was disgusting, and the “white” sheets on the beds were visibly dirty. It looked like they just made the bed without changing any of the linens. Completely unacceptable. I would have loved to share this with the front desk and possibly get fresh linens, except they were all gone at 5:00. With the exception of check in, I have never seen anyone actually work at the front desk. EVER. Not when we need something, not when something is wrong with the unit, not when we call (even during business hours). Not at all. Furthermore, hearing other guests running up and down the hallways is the furthest from relaxing mountain getaway that I’ve ever experienced. There are signs posted: “No running in the hallways”; but with no one actually on premises to enforce this, there’s zero chance of that happening. This place is not worth the time it takes to get there and that’s being generous. You will be driving distance to the ski resorts, that is true. But if you’re thinking you’re staying in the best parts of Breckenridge, you are sadly mistaken. If there is snow on the ground, or it’s dark while you’re traveling (which happens around 4:30 in the winter), getting here is a nightmare. Save your money and stay some...
