Idk where to start. First of all I had to pay $280 something dollars for four nights stay because supposedly it was last minute but there wasn't hardly anybody at the hotel while I was there and to be 100% honest with you the hotel was barely worth $50 a night at best. There were people who had their pets with them living inside the hotel. There was a dog biscuit on the floor of my supposedly recently cleaned room that I rented for 4 days. I was giving an upstairs room and all the rooms were facing outside as there was no real interior or hallways I could see the light coming from outside on each side of the heater / air conditioner that was in my room so the room wasn't even completely sealed You could tell that somebody had done some very shoddy repairs throughout the room In the room just downright smelled bad. It was dirty It was not well taken care of I didn't see any bed bugs but I tried to sleep in the bed as little as possible. I was in town for Toyota shut down working 12-hour days sometimes 14 hours so I really just needed the room to be able to go and rest my neck so I could get back up and go back to work and I didn't want to pay a ton of money for that but $287 was by far way way too much money I mean I have video footage of nine sheriffs and state troopers in the parking lot that woke me up when I was supposed to be getting sleep for work and two fire trucks and an ambulance. Somebody literally died in the back of the hotel and I think they were related to the people running the hotel the Indian family. Who by the way were nice people but we're running one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. I tried getting the breakfast the first morning and I noticed that the juices both the orange juice and whatever other juice were very very old and disgusting not something I would serve anybody. They had some yogurt that wasn't expired so that was okay they had some bagels and a toaster oven you could toast them in and they had some waffles batter and a waffle maker which I didn't try but seem to be in working order. I mean the breakfast was nearly pointless I know quality inn is not really all that well known for their quality since they were bought by whoever bought it but even the one in Springfield Ohio is much better than the one I stayed at on Cherry blossom Way in Scott county Kentucky. I would highly advise anyone and I mean anyone thinking about staying around there not to stay there. I would tell all my union guys all the mill rights I am workers etc that go in on shutdowns to do work for companies like Toyota do not stay at this hotel. It was a waste of my money I would have been better off staying in my car to be honest with you The toilet was clogged from day one The shower shot water out of the shower and kind of all over the place and it had a constant leak and was always dripping so there was always a small puddle in the bathtub of the hotel shower. I stayed in room 203 which was upstairs and was for the most part quiet enough and the ladies did leave me alone except for one morning the cleaning lady kept knocking on my door when I requested nobody bother me during the day cuz I had to try and sleep. I've never been so unsatisfied with a hotel in my life especially for what I was asked...
Read moreThis review is for not only the reader that is considering staying at this Quality Inn, but for what I hope will be gently encouraging improvements from the staff of this hotel. My family of three stayed at this Quality Hotel the nights of 9/10/24 and 9/11/24. I would like to add that the staff acted always in a courteous manner. I would stay here again if I was in a pinch in finding lodging. Following are the Pros and Cons of our stay. Pros: The I-75 is very convenient to the hotel and made moving about a breeze. The front of this hotel was kept clean with adequate lighting at night; the check in at the receptionist was adequate; the room was attractive; the beds were comfortable; the room was clean; the ice machine behind this hotel worked well; there was a gasoline station next door selling gas for 2.99 which was very reasonable for the city of Georgetown during that week. Cons: There was a perfume machine above the door that put out a strong sweet smell. I have found in the past that such machines are installed to cover up disagreeable smells. I found it a very potent smell, but it did not bother my wife and my daughter; I can only grade the room as average maintenance because there was one of three light bulbs burned out over the sink, the sink stopper was not working, and there was 2 minor holes in the bathroom walls that needed patching; the air conditioner was far off on maintaining the temperature that it was set at; without the air conditioner running the traffic noise was a distraction around 4:00 AM. To go to the ice machine required walking to the rear of this Quality Inn. Wow! Its another world. There was an extreme need to clean up the small paper debris on the grounds behind; there was a broken small air conditioner that was laying on the ground behind as well as a car with the wheel and brake parts completely missing. There was also a card board box full of trash in front of an apartment behind that had been there at least two days. Some of the apartments behind had boots outside the doors as well as some of the chairs from inside the apartments. It looked like that those living in the apartments behind were long term residents. I would not want my wife to go behind to the only ice machine to get ice. One of the electronic door cards would not work and after some discussing this with the staff they fixed it so it would work. The continental breakfast was a little below average in variety , but the fruit they offered of bananas and tangerines were of high quality. I thank the staff for my stay here and hope they will take this review as an opportunity to improve...
Read moreFirst room they gave us had dishes that were unwashed for at least a week or so, toilet had pee marks on lid, entire room smelled of said dishes
Got a room transfer and while it was better, it was still somewhat questionable as several areas of the room had stains, and the pullout desk they had came with legs that would slant at a 75 degree angle everytime you moved it
Breakfast had issues, one of them being the gravy was still cold (at 8, when bfast opens at 7), the gravy also smelled very off, didn't even try it. The "original" flavor of the waffles had dark chunks coming out and the consistency was that of icing, the "today's flavor" seemed fine, didn't have it but my father did, coffee machine had tape over it with "out of order" sharpied on it, most other bfast items were more or less edible
Outside looks nice, parking lights are bright
Inside is a mess, you enter and right above you some of the wall isn't painted, and it isn't just there, other areas around the facility have unpainted parts (on the same wall),
Elevator is very dirty and the certificate of an annual inspection expired in Oct 4, 2023, our stay was 16th thru 18th October, so if you do stay in this depressing place I might recommend you take the stairs
Overall the front of my car (on a road trip, with bug guts on it) looks more clean than the hotel
This might be a quality inn for $5
Find somewhere else, this place has a huge management issue and had seen someone getting double-charged AND a pet fee (for which he did not have a pet), person at desk said something about the daughter of the owner having something to do with the pet fee, and it's "just how she does things" Yeah, unfairly charging someone is "how you do things" no its not, your business is failing due to poor management, and you want to fee innocent people to stay afloat
If you booked this from "The Ark" recommend hotels, well, good luck, there's a waffle house in front of hotel if gravy that will give you diarrhea...
