Waffle House — Restaurant in Kentucky

Called to place an order to go, lady on the phone could clearly not hear me because the music in the restaurant was so loud and I'm not sure I had her full attention she kept asking about the pilot across the street. I'm not sure what it was all about or if she was trying to confirm I knew where I was ordering from, but I did know that's why I called the location. Moving forward I told her I wanted the Texas Bacon Lovers BLT and her response was Texas??? I stated again I wanted the BLT with a side of Hash browns with onions. She asked for name and said see you in a few min. I asked her about how long she said not long maybe 5 min. When I walked in the door she was turned to her co worker and said $8.86 i asked her if she was talking to me she said yes. Her and her co worker continued talking about a girl on her period and asking shouldn't she know how to take care of that by now, completely out of line and disgusting to talk about in front of a customer. While she was getting my change I looked in the bag to make sure everything was there. I inspected the blt because I noticed it wasn't on Texas toast and it was stuck on the hashbrown. There was hardly any bacon on it. I even showed the cook who swore she put 5 pieces on it. It looked like maybe 5 half pieces of bacon because it was mostly crumbled. They eventually said they'd remake it but I didnt have the time as I needed to hurry and eat to get ready for work. All three of the ladies kept looking at each other like I was crazy. My Husband and I, stopped in around 8:30pm on Saturday, December 16th. Within hours we had the WORST food poisoning we’ve ever had in our entire lives. It was the only food we had eaten that day, we started throwing up around 1am and it lasted for me, until 1:30pm Sunday, December 17th. My husband however, was still vomiting until around 5pm. The only thing we both consumed were the hash browns. So something either wasn’t cleaned up to code, or the potatoes were rotten. Perhaps both even! A call, and a formal complaint have been sent in to the Scott County Health Department. My only hope is NO ONE, EVER, gets as sick as we did. It was the most miserable experience of our lives, and as of today, Monday, December 18th we still don’t feel fully well. Something seriously needs to be looked into. All that was vomited up was the food consumed that night at that Waffle House. DO NOT EAT HERE!!! Please for everything holy, Do not eat here. I don’t think I could even stomach to look at another Waffle House as long as I live....

On the evening of 14 July 22 at 6:15 pm, I went to the worst Waffle House ever. The Georgetown KY facility #1288. At least 1/3 the tables had dirty old dishes and food. The floor had food all over it especially in the food prep area. The manager on duty, an African American female, spent the majority of the time yelling at someone on the phone about hanging up on her. She disappeared in the back but was so loud I could hear her every word. This went on almost the entire time I was eating. Additional customers came in and the only server, who was polite and apologetic, informed them the cook/manager was having a mental breakdown on the phone and didn't know when they would get food because she could not cook. The server spent a lot of time sitting at a table on her phone and talking to someone sitting in the "restaurant" instead of taking care of the facility. I don't normally leave reviews, however I...
