I bought two mattresses from Mike within the past year. I have never dealt with anyone who was more friendly, fair, and honest. I was so impressed with the first mattress (the quality, the service, and the cost) that I returned later to purchase the same one in a king size. Mike was an awesome, awesome man. Too bad there is not more like him.

UPDATE: Some time after Mike passed away, I attempted to do business with the new management of Bargain Barn. When I called, the man on the phone was extremely rude and when I referenced the previous mattresses I had bought from Bargain Barn, he told me that Mike did not keep good records and that there was no record of my previous purchases. The prices he quoted me were far higher than I had paid previously and definitely no bargain!!!! I told him that I would come in and take a look at what they had available, and since I had casually mentioned that I had Covid two or three weeks earlier, he told me not to come into the store. I am a student at App state and just needed a mattress for my unfurnished apartment in Boone and Bargain Barn made it SO easy. I got the college special which was a mattress, box spring, frame, and delivery all for $375. I was able to purchase it over the phone beforehand and have the mattress delivered on my move-in date.
