North Winds Lodge, LLC — Hotel in Bowman

I have been meaning to write a review for this place! We stayed back in June on a 2 week road trip from AZ back to VA. We drove from Montana and stayed here after visiting Theodore Roosevelt NP before heading to SD the following day. It was about an hour and 15 min drive from Theo NP and a perfect spot to rest for the night. The rooms were very spacious and clean and the area felt safe. I talked to the owner at the front desk on the phone to book because we were just looking on a map at places to stay conveniently on the way to our next stop. She was very friendly and booking was easy; it is also pet friendly with no pet fee which is always a huge plus for us as we travel with our dog. The beds were comfy, with cozy velour blankets which was very nostalgic and a table and chairs the room. My buddy and I needed a place to stay on our treck up north. Called at around 9PM asking for availability. The lady running the phone was really kind and had us setup with great verbal instructions. Reached the motel at around midnight and were greeted by a kind gentlemen, talked with us about the area and gave us tips on where to go in the morning on our way up to Theo NP. Felt very good about staying there before I even stepped into room.

The room was clean and comfortable. Little old school, but perfect for what we needed. Old school furniture, but has all you need and was able to sleep for 8+ hours no prob. Drive up and park right by your room, and hit the road.

We have been on the road for about 3 days coming from Washington, DC and this motel has been the best stay so far, as we head up north to Theo NP.

We stayed in Room #30 the night of 9/19/23. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was convenient. The owners/staff were very kind and polite. The only complaint we had was that the toilet did not flush properly. We requested service and they very promptly sent someone to the room to remedy the issue. Unfortunately, there was/is a deeper issue with the plumbing as the toilet seemed to only flush properly after given an hour or so between flushes. We also noticed that the drain in the tub/shower did not drain properly as the water became 3-4 inches deep by the time I completed my shower.
