Sun Motel — Hotel in Braidwood

Don't waste your time this place is absolute garbage! My husband and I had some work done in the home, only needed 1 night! I called, get the price, we get there, I had to go all the way back, to the car to get my driver's license! You both have to have a driver's license! Just to check in this place! Then he shows us the room, it smells like spilled milk that dried! Then informs Us, that there is not enough hot water! How can a hotel not have hot water! And expect to get paid! So we were going to try to just make, it do, for the night, then we get back to the front desk, And he, says we need a 35.00 deposit, it has to be cash! So now we would have to go running out, late at night, to look for an ATM, to get cash! He, didn't tell me any of this on the phone! So I told my husband lets, forget this place! We drove 40 minutes to another hotel! Don't waste your time with this garbage place it's not worth it! And this is the second time that we tried to use this place! Never again, will we, waste time, with this, garbage of a hotel! And, all this nonsense to go with it! We are way grown, we're not partying, we're not tearing up a room, bottom line, don't waste your time, With, something that calls itself a hotel! Doesn't have hot water! I read several, reviews, their TV didn't work! And, this...

Don't know how the health department or any other governing department kepts this dump open- its disgusting. Had th misfortune of being extremely tired of driving from Branson Mo and stopped here as a last resort for someplace to rest- what a mistake. The room had no toilet paper, no towels, no soap, no shampoo, had not been vacuumed since who knows when, the sheets had stains, mirrors missing from the walls, refrig smelled,.Owner did not even greet us when we entered just handed us a sign in slip- should have driven on right then. No coffee no nothing and the room smelled. And analog tV so the channels kept going out during the shows so you couldnt really even watch anything. Horrible experience even for one nite. Was about $75 with tax and a total waste. Outside was a dirty as the inside- the hallways had not been cleaned forever either....

I have been almost a year i have no complaints sam and rose are very good managers they are always on top of things they care about there customers they go way and beyondto make sure you are happy the rooms are clean the hallways are clean they are always cleaning the hotel prices are super good i would never want to go anywhere else they are pet friendly like i said i have been here for almost a year and there is no drugs coming in or out of this motel all the bad people are gone i would recommend this place to anyone come and check out this amazing hotel you wont be sorry if i ever leave but have to come back to this hotel it would be a place for me and my dogs to come to...
