I generally do not write reviews but thought I should in this case. First of all, this is not an INN in the traditional sense. This is misleading. It is an Air B&B at best. I stayed in the Long Trail room and generally, the experience was OK. I was there for one night traveling through the area. The site is convenient and the space was relatively clean. I did have cobwebs, dust, hair in the bathroom, and a requirement to take out your own trash and do the dishes which was disappointing given the $60 cleaning fee that is charged. The room was scented with a powerful sweet chemical smell. Probably Febreze or some kind of air "freshener". Less sensitive people would have had a problem. I was also disappointed in the decor. Read moreWe stayed in the Woodstock Suite, and overall it was lovely and comfortable. Our room was clean, AC worked well, there were kids staying upstairs and that was a little loud, kids are kids, but if you hate noise, this may not be the suite for you. Downtown Woodstock is about 10 minutes away and there's a little local market that stays open pretty late (for Vermont) just 2 minutes down the road.
I do agree with other commentors that this place needs a rebrand - it's advertised as an inn, but it's truly an AirBnB. As long as you go in with your expectations aligned with an AirBnB type experience,...
