I have been to Broken Bow several times and absolutely love coming here! The Dark Horse Compound is a perfect getaway. You will notice right away that a lot of thought went into the design and layout, all to provide a relaxing retreat. The facility is conveniently located near many of Beavers Bend State Parks main attractions making it an ideal location. I should also mention it is just hop skip and jump away from excellent trout fishing, either at the stream, river, or lake. Visited this cabin for my birthday with my husband, two teenagers, and a preteen. The cabin has a great downstairs setup for separation and an inviting upstairs living and kitchen area for family time. There are multiple areas for enjoying nature and the fresh outdoor air. The cabin was clean, and the fireplace was cozy for the cool mornings. The sauna is amazing and the giant firepit provided my family with smore making memories.We will definitely visit again and stay longer. This is the best airbnb I have ever stayed at. The beds are incredibly comfortable. The kitchen is amazing -- so well stocked with everything you will need and high quality equipment. This property is great for large groups or families with lots of spaces to be together and also spaces for privacy and alone time.
