Have stayed here multiple times over the years and found it to be very suitable to our needs, although our most recent stay has revealed a few negatives.||First, it's important to not curse the thermostat for being broken. Instead OPEN THE COVER and you will magically discover controls that are usually on the outside of the cover. There is off/heat/cool and a fan setting for auto/on. This is not obvious until you open the cover!||Second, we were disappointed to have housekeeping bypass us for 4 days despite asking the front desk ... so I questioned the housekeeper in the hallways and she replied that she came by at 8:30 each morning but found our door sign "do not disturb." My inference was that she only came by once each day and if I was still sleeping, I was out of luck. (We had traveled from the Pacific Time Zone so were on a slightly later schedule than Colorado time.) When I queried the front desk, they said that they would try to remedy this (and they did the next day).||Third, the Sunday breakfast was the busiest (youth sports teams)of the 6 mornings we were there and, coincidently, the day with the worst meat option (gravy over biscuits with chunks of sausage). So be forewarned not to have high expectations for Sunday breakfast in the "hot item" category.||All else was outstanding. Our Hyatt status gave us 2 daily waters. Each evening a small plate of warm cookies was in the lobby. The suite was very comfortable and spacious with a television that swiveled to either the bed side or the sofa side. And there was ample parking and outdoor seating areas near the outdoor pool for leisure time. The inroom coffeemaker was a 4-cup decanter style with pretty average coffee flavor but the rest of the full kitchen, including a full refrigerator and microwave, were very handy. Plates and silverware and glassware too.||We look forward...
Read moreI recently stayed two separate weeks, each five days long, and it worked really well for my business trip. Staff was very friendly.
Bedroom & Comfort: The bed was comfortable overall, though the comforter did have a few feathers poking out. The pillows were super comfy. Each nightstand had a convenient multi-plug setup, including regular USB and USB-C ports, so charging devices was a breeze. There was also a working desk with a lamp and outlets, plus a TV that could swivel between the living area and the bedroom.
Living and Kitchen Area: The living space had a roomy couch that folded out into a small bed. There was plenty of lighting and an apartment-sized fridge/freezer, an electric stovetop, a built-in microwave, sink, and a dishwasher. The kitchen was well-stocked with plates, bowls, glasses, and a small four-cup coffee maker. They even provided some ground coffee packs with filters, sugar, creamer, and Sweet'n Low, along with a couple of dish detergent packets and a small bottle of dish soap. There was a dining chair tucked under the counter to eat on.
Bathroom & Closet: The bathroom, behind double doors, had ample counter space, an ironing board, iron, and a hairdryer. The stand-up shower had a safety handlebar but no tub, and toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash) were in wall-mounted dispensers. The closet had extra linens, shelving, and hangers.
Amenities: The hotel has a seasonal outdoor pool (no indoor pool), an in-hotel bar with a few appetizer options, and a daily breakfast available from about 6:30-7am until about 9 or 10 AM depending it being a weekday or weekend. There’s a 24-hour gym, a laundry facility (with change available at the front desk), an on-site ATM, and even a pool table for...
Read moreI normally do not post reviews of places but I basically got screwed over by this place. Because of this hotel my account got overdrawn 800 dollars, bank settled it down to 75 dollars overdrawn and now I have to tend to the difference. I have NEVER had such a issue. I recently reached Explorist status and now will most likely never stay at a Hyatt ever again. A lady actually had the nerve to tell my fiance she was not allowed in the room while the cleaning lady is in the room which was never told to us and makes no sense as we do not like people in our room with our stuff. I never got my waters for entire 11 days we were there. I was supposed to receive a call from the manager about what happened with my card and my stays which never happened as I drove from Denver to Austin and had signal the entire time. But also because of this whole incident, I had to pay 30 dollar charges for each transaction that was considered overdrawn due to the hotel's error. So not only was I put back -817.39 I had to add 30 dollars to 12 charges and so now will loose my cell phone service until I get paid and I also have to pay back the money that my account got overdawn despite it not being my fault. So my stay was lacking in so many ways. When packages arrived I was only called once and never again afterwards, never got my complementary waters at any of the days I was there and dealt with rudeness about a policy that was not notified to us in anyway about cleaning ladies and being in the room while they clean. So my fiance and I are never using Hyatt ever again because of this. Nothing was done to make this right. Not by Hyatt nor the manager that was supposed to call. So word of advice, watch your bank accounts because they may try...
