Great accommodations. The owner has "Quite Time". It's not quite time it's a curfew. You feel like a prisoner on your own vacation. If you leave your cottage after 10pm being quite and not disturbing anyone (taking a walk off of the owners property) the owner knows when you leave and return. He waits at the gate for you and will ask you, "What are you doing"? Who is he my dad? I am 53 years old and spent my hard working money to stay there. I am an adult and NO ONE at another hotel would stalk you and ask you what your doing. If you don't mind a man dictating when you come and go you will be fine. On another note after he approaches you he will sit and stare at you until you are back in your cottage. We had to call the police as we felt for our safety. The owner kicked us out 1 night early and would not refund our money.

The police report I received yesterday did not mention anything the owner mentioned in his response to my review except that both parties agreed to part ways. In fact because of the owners behavior we told the owner we were leaving the next morning as we felt very unsafe on his property as he is a stalker. Creepy is the word that was used that he thought was disrespectful so he trespassed us off of his property. The report said nothing in regards to reviewing the footage and being trespassed because of the footage. There was no footage to see other than to see a car driving in on a one-way by accident. People make mistakes. I would not deal with this business they are trouble, not trustworthy, and you have no privacy . I see alot of good reviews but if nothing else DO NOT TRUST HIM on his property. He is watching you every second. He accused me of being intoxicated. I was 33 hours away from home getting a few food items around 10pm, not drinking. I feel lucky I left when I did. I say all of this to keep the...

We stayed at Jacobson's Cottages in East Glacier, MT on July 19, 20, 21 2019. This was our 2nd time staying there. The cabin was clean & a great location into the park.

Our stay was good till I checked my credit card statement.

The owner, Jeff made several repeated attempts to get his card machine to process my Canadian credit card. Apparently Cdn cards are not always compatible with American machines.

To my surprise a week later when I checked my credit card statement, I saw that the charge went through 3 times for a total of $ 1,229.88 CDN dollars. The charge for 3 nights was $409.96 so I was overcharged by $ 819.92 CDN dollars.

I finally got a hold of Jeff on July 31, 2019 at 17:15. He told me that he did not have enough money to refund the overcharge but should have it the next day as more people checked in & paid, he would have the money for the refund.

He was belligerent in his attitude like this was no big deal & also said that I was the 4th person to call with the same problem.

On August 1st, after no refund, I kept getting a busy signal for an hour when I tried to phone. Finally on August 2nd at 09:46 I left a message for Jeff to call me back.

August 2 at 09:59, I spoke to my bank & they called Jacobson's with me on the line for a conference call. The man who answered was rude & just said call back in 10 minutes & hung up on the bank personnel.

So now my bank has to waste valuable time & resources to dispute this overcharge, when Jeff from Jacobson's Cottage knew that he had overcharged me & could have just refunded the money when he agreed to do so.

This is costing me money in long distance phone calls, not to mention all of my valuable time wasted on emails & phone call to get the refund that Jeff knew he had overcharged me.

Very dishonest owners & business practices! They should be...

My sister & I planned a visit to the East side of Glacier National Park in mid-August and stayed at Jacobson's Cottages, which exceeded our expectations and were absolutely perfect in every way. The owners are the kindest, friendliest and most wonderful couple. They've remodeled the cottages (which really sets them apart from other older accommodation options near GNP), and the cottages are truly amazing, have everything you need, and are eco-friendly. The cottages have the highest quality beds & linens, are incredibly clean & comfortable, and have so many lovely touches (like fresh coffee grounds and instructions for making the perfect cup!). Parking spots are right next to each cottage, making it easy to unload & load your car. The grounds are beautifully maintained by the owners, with plenty of places to gather & sit outside. ||Jacobson's Cottages are close to the Two Medicine entrance at GNP, about a 40min beautiful drive to the St. Mary entrance, and about a 70min drive to the Many Glacier entrance, which we ended up easily going to twice during our 3 day stay. There are restaurant options & a grocery store in East Glacier Park just down the road from Jacobson's Cottages. ||We absolutely LOVED our stay and definitely plan on staying there again next time...

Stayed here for 2 nights labor day weekend as we were exploring the many glacier and east side of Glacier NP. Totally worth it! Owners are super friendly, shared so much useful knowledge, and were willing to answer any questions we had about the lodging or the park. The cabins looked like they had JUST been renovated. Honestly the cleanest lodging i think I've ever stayed in. Normally I feel grossed out walking barefoot in hotels, but not here! The kitchen had everything we needed and more. Location was ideal, 15 mins from east side entrance. Honestly wish we stayed here the entire time. Staying on the west side wasn't necessary as it took forever to get to many of the trail heads from that end. There was a lot more traffic approaching from that side which also clogged up the shuttles, we noticed there was plenty of room on shuttles approaching from the east. Highly recommend this location and would love to go back as I feel we didn't have enough time to really enjoy all the property has to offer.

My husband and I spent our anniversary here at Jacobson's Cottages while exploring the East side of Glacier National Park. Eric and Susan are wonderful hosts. The cottages are adorable. Inside they are totally renovated, sparkling clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. There was a teapot in the room and supplies to make a perfect cup of drip coffee or a cup of tea. There were also a few dishes and cups, microwave and small fridge so we could enjoy our PB&J sandwiches and fruit before heading out to hike. The cottage was quiet and had heat and A/C though we needed neither - nice cool nights for sleeping. Enjoyed sitting outside the cabin in the evening. Eric was eager to share information about the area and helped us find just the right hike. It was an easy drive to Two Medicine area (and no pass needed to enter the park there), St. Mary (also no pass needed) and just a bit farther to Many Glacier entrance.
