Really great place for access to Two Medicine area of Glacier. We stayed in the Cowboy Cabin in the Big Red Barn. Cozy and comfortable space for the three of us. Diane greeted us and gave us great advice for places to eat and things to see. Communications were superb from booking right up through departure. It was very clean and had many amenities to help us enjoy our stay. If I had one wish for the place it would be to have wifi service...because cell service is non-existent in the area....at least for us. We found that we had to go over to Glacier Park Lodge and sit in their lobby area (after buying a coffee) to download emails and get the latest weather information. But we managed and were really glad we decided to stay at the Travelers Rest Lodge.

Attention, travellers! This is a must “rest” stay on your way. Absolutely peaceful, clean, and well decorated lodge in East Glacier. The owners, Mr. Bob and Ms. Diane, are super nice and very welcoming. I can feel that the owners do care for this lodge. Absolutely gorgeous atmosphere and view here, as you can feel from my photos. I will definitely come and stay again if I have chance to come back to Glacier National Park! Thank you, Diane! ps. I couldn’t find my signal nor wifi so I asked the owner, Bob. He said “do not look at the phone. Look at the mountains!” This is a perfect stay to meditate upon the nature surrounding me.

We can't say enough good things about this place!!! We stayed in the barn and it was dreamy. Fabulous sheets and towels. Andrew was an amazing host. The WiFi was excellent. The barn is just incredible. We cannot wait to come back next year and will book sooner rather than later! Thankful for the recommendations that Andrew gave us, too. It was just a lovely trip!!!!!

First thing we noticed when we got out of our car was the mosquitoes. Several had bitten us before we got the car unloaded. They were horrendous, which we dealt with another 40 miles after we left the next day because some got trapped in the car. Secondly, Road noise and train noise was all night long. There was no amenities such as TV or Wi-Fi. It wasn’t a very convenient area to see anything except Two medicine. |Do not book the loft at the top of a barn with a metal roof.It was 85° when we checked into our room at 5:30. and it was still 80° at midnight. We had two box fans and two small fans going and didn’t get much sleep. |Diane told us that we did not need air conditioning because it was cool there. We stayed there at the end of July and it was in the 90s outside .We did call and request a fan and some bug spray which they brought. |We were originally going to stay 2 days So Diane ran my credit card for both days when we arrived. It is stated that they have a 14 day cancellation policy but we had an emergency and had to leave after one day and wasn’t given any sort of refund. I am sure they booked the room after we left. |When we drove in to the property, we noticed that it was for sale. Hopefully the new owners will be more considerate...

My wife and I stayed in Cabin #1 at the Travelers Rest Lodge the last week of September 2023. We spent two nights in Cabin #1. The Cabin was immaculately clean and there was plenty of room to relax and enjoy the cabin. The setting of these cabins is very picturesque with the mountains of Glacier National Park in the background. The Proprietors of Travelers Rest were very accommodating, and we thoroughly enjoyed meeting them and learning about them. We could park right in front of our cabin which made it easy for unloading our luggage. This was our favorite lodging during our Glacier National Park Vacation. We stayed at 4 different locations while we were exploring GNP. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom area was well laid out and the towels were great. Each cabin has a little kitchen area with an under the counter refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, utensils, dinnerware, and a kitchen sink. Each cabin has a front porch where the guests can sit and enjoy the views of East Glacier. When we go back to East Glacier, we will definitely be staying at Travelers Rest Lodge again. It is also very conveniently located to the town of East Glacier and the Glacier National Park's The Big Tree Lodge...
