Such a great spot to rent for a night or two (or even a week) if you're going to Glacier. It was nice to be able to check in and spend a full day at glacier because it was less than a 30 min drive to the enterence of the park. The facilities were super clean and Jason is really nice and accommodating. The Merc across the street is fantastic too, amazing baked goods and coffee. The showers in this place are super clean and you feel at home. Bathrooms are clean too, and super close to all of the yurts/cabins. The fire pit is cute and roomy, and it was nice to meet others who were staying the night and have a chat around the fire about adventures and life. The little stand bbq was a great touch too, super nice to make dinner and brekkie.
We stayed in the Yurt, and it was so comfortable. We felt secure, safe and cozy. Bedding was super clean, as were the towels. The heater was super nice for the night time when it got a bit chilly, and the skylight was adorable.
At night, it's super quiet and you have a fantastic view of the stars.
Overall, if you're looking for somewhere to stay the night, I'd highly suggest this place. If I could give it another 5/5 stars, I would 100% grant it that.
It's also family friendly, which is nice.
I'll definitely recommend this place to anyone going to Glacier, and I'll be booking here again when I come back to Glacier.
Thanks for everything, Jason...
Read moreI stayed in two different yurts on two different nights and both times I felt safe and comfortable! This was a great, reasonably priced option for staying on the east side of Glacier NP. Like with camping, you should expect to hear the voices and noises of folks in other cabins, yurts, or around the campground. The yurts themselves are immensely comfortable with great temperature control - between the windows (with screens) and the quick functioning electric heaters - , rugs, clean sheets, and a table and chairs for eating. We didn't do a great job of planning for food so having the Kyiyo Mercantile a few steps away from the campground really saved us. You must try the baked beans and the huckleberry bearclaws! But there are lots of other food, drink, and snack...
Read moreGreat place for visiting the east side of GNP. The cabins are very well maintained and the beds were extremely comfortable. We rented 3 cabins, 2 set of grandparents, and us and our baby. The names of cabins and yurts are alphabetical, so if you want to be together, make sure you have them in alphabetical order. Although, none of them are far from each other. It would be helpful if they added a map to the reservation page.
It was a pleasure to wake up in the morning and walk across the street to the Mercantile for Huckleberry BearPaws. (Also the fried chicken for dinner, yum!) The drop toilets are clean and private. We did not have a fire, but it looked like a great place to hang out.
Overall, excellent place, excellent price....
