Rambling Roots Hostel — Hotel in Bryson City

Bookie might be an angel actually. We had the most absurdly terrible weekend and Bookie (the owner of this hostel) completely saved our butts. She was genuinely one of the most kind people I've ever met in my life. The hostel itself is very conveniently located and is gorgeous. The animals are very friendly and, of course, adorable. The beds are comfy and tbe showers and bathrooms are clean. We didnt use any of the extra stuff that was out but there were even extra clothes and pajamas for people. The coffee was good and the vibe was great. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anybody. (btw Bookie if youre reading this, my wife did end up breaking her leg in 3 places and dislocating her ankle and is having surgery but will be fine. thank...

I had a very comfortable stay that I can’t thank her enough for. What an amazing person clearly doing what she loves, helping hikers on their journey wherever they may be headed! Thank you Bookie!

As an AT thru hiker I say Bravo and Kudos to Bookie, the owner & operator of Rambling Roots Hostel. She has created a wonderfully splendid hostel oasis that offers spacious, clean and comfortable accommodations. Bookie did a thru hike of the AT herself so she understands the needs of hikers and the hiker community. Rambling Roots is great for other adventurers as well such as rafters and kayakers.
