After reading the other reviews I'm kind of sad that we didn't have the 5 star experience many others seemed to have. The pros: The park looks really beautiful. It was super quiet. We loved the dog park. It had a mix of fake grass and nature with little hills that my dogs loved running around. The walking path along the lake is really nice as well. The cons: I put my swimming suit on, walked all the way to the pool. Dipped my toes in and it was COLD and the hot tub was also cold! There was no sign stating it was not working or anything. I asked a maintenance guy about the hot tub and he said "not today" I said. "What day?" And he replied "hopefully soon" no other explanation. This was one of the amenities I looked forward to and was very disappointed. I went to use the laundry, you have to download an app and load your card information onto the app. I really didn't like that idea but downloaded the app anyway. Well you can't just pay with your card you have to load amounts onto the app in $10 amounts. Nowhere did it say how much anything was so I didn't even know how much to put in. Also, only staying there short term I didn't want to load money onto the app and be left with a leftover amount that I can't use anywhere else. It made it difficult to just do a load of laundry and I wasn't able to wash clothes while there. You can see all the sites in the middle are super unlevel. We parked by the lake which was more level but the part that our sewer hose goes in was a good 6 inches off the ground making our hose have to go uphill to drain. It was also so far back that we had to use two sewer hose to reach. It made dumping a huge pain. The wifi was so bad we couldn't even run a speed test. It was down or not usable at all the whole week we were there. Last, we stayed here thinking it was a good spot for being close to Austin. Google maps said it was about a 20 minute drive to the area in Austin I needed. However, if you are going to or from Austin between 7am and 10am or 4pm and 7pm the traffic makes the 20 minute drive over an hour of stop and go traffic every day, making this not a good spot for commuting to Austin. Unless you are only driving in the middle of the day, it really is not a convenient stay if you're looking for something close to Austin. At the end we just left feeling like it looked nice but it was all a front. Between not being able to use the pool/hot tub, the laundry area not being user friendly, no wifi, the terrible dumping situation and the hour commute to Austin. We will stay somewhere else...

I've lived here for several months now. In my experience it is one of the best RV parks I've ever stayed/lived at. Very nice lake well-kept property, clean pool, nice hot tub, Party Barn, Boardwalk, two dog parks, a nice dog wash, catch-and-release fishing which I really appreciate, the laundromat has new working equipment, super nice clean shower rooms, a convenience store, and a media room, all of which are taken care of and in excellent condition.
For me the best part is the staff, super friendly and easy to work with/talk to. The manager Truman, is really friendly, and an amusing conversationalist. The assistant manager Alice is very nice and helpful with everything. I love that they keep the park rules in place and enforced to keep the park nice and clean and well-kept. Some people may not appreciate that, but that is exactly the type I would prefer not to live next to.
The property is gated and private property so there are not a lot of random people driving through. It gives the park a secure feeling and keeps it pretty quiet at night.
Can't say enough good things about this place.
Cons-
The wifi that's included is embarrassing. It's akin to dial up/AOL days. It's seriously embarassingly bad. In what is now considered the tech capitol of the country, this should really be addressed.
Long termers can't put standing structural covers over their RVs even if we pay for ourselves, and they have a no patio deck policy. Probably could be rectified relatively easily if the management company would allow very specific structural designs that way they all look the same and are built to the same quality specifications but I understand the reason for the rule.
Although I think a bit of commitment and a little bit of mental effort would allow for things like decks and covers to easily be integrated into the park.
All-in-all, I've been very impressed with the entire place and the staff.

Read moreI am so excited for this rv resort to open ! I work in the industry and customers are always asking me where they should stay overnight. Now I can CONFIDENTLY tell them where - BUDA PLACE. First of all , the dedication that I have seen the owners doing - research by implementing themselves IN THE FIELD -asking and determining what rv’ers wants and needs are- brilliant. Most entrepreneurs design what they want , and not what the future consumer is going to inevitably ask for. It’s innovative and sparkling with a good vibe. Welcome to Texas with some serious style and heart put into it. The people who created this resort are also rv’ers - and people who attend rv rallies and get to know the public- because they actually care that the guests have the best stay ever. They have created An experience, and with amenities that are easy to use and add so much value. Ever been to an rv park that has so much beauty and culture that you don’t have to leave? I have not - not until now. For those of you that like resorts because of the atmosphere and high end feel, (but hate packing and unpacking your luggage constantly )- this is going to also be your place! I can’t wait to kayak the lake and swim in the nature-like designed pool. I know where all my airstream and rv friends will be going. Don’t hesitate to check it out. You will want to live there or attend as a guest regularly !!!! This is what the area needed. Blessed someone had the vision...
