Betsy and I just got back from a 4 night stay at Aqua Hot Spring and I can definitely support the other reviewer's 5 star ratings. Like the others have said it all starts with Mari and she is a pleasure to work with to schedule your hot spring adventure. The house is very nice with a well equipped kitchen, fun decorations and a nice set of welcome gifts. We also had wonderful massages right in the house from Sarah who is also delightful to work with.
But you are probably not coming here for the house as much as the hot spring, and if that's what you are looking for then this is the place. The pool is perfectly situated right next to Chalk Creek which you can hear while soaking. Read moreThis place is quite the hidden gem. Very helpful host who will go out of her way to ensure you have a wonderful stay, little touches in the cabin as if you were staying at a 5 star spa hotel. The hot springs pool is secluded, warm, and lovely, surrounded by trees and with a view of the night sky. The cabin is beautiful, especially the living area with big windows looking out in the woods. Plenty of short winter hikes around and the Mt Princeton restaurant is just down the road if you want take out, but the kitchen is stocked with gadgets for cooking. Pro tip: wear regular shoes down to the hot springs pool and bring a head lamp for evening dips since the pool doesn't have any lights along the path. Overall it was a relaxing and beautiful stay, I highly recommend...
Read moreThis place is a treat! Mari, the manager, is incredibly responsive and helpful. The cabin was immaculately clean and stocked with organic toiletries and eco-friendly supplies. It's the perfect place to read, relax, play games, nap, do yoga etc. We loved the flowers, local goodies, and the art. The beds were very comfortable - yay! The house was warm and cozy and we kept the firing burning all day. The hot spring is wonderful -piping hot and along the Chalk Creek. We soaked twice a day and left feeling top notch. Great bird watching and very quiet. We cannot wait to go back....
