This was my very first stay at Legacy Lodge. So I attendend a conference and made my reservation a few weeks prior to the conference when I went to check in it was nothing but issues. I had made the reservation under the company I worked for with a company credit card. I made my reservation over the phone and gave all of the information I needed to provide or so I thought until I went to check in. They needed the credit card. I didn't have the card because I don't get to hold the card because I am not in that type of position. That information might have been helpful to have before I hung up when making the reservation. When I went to check in they stated they then needed a waiver. I was never told a waiver was needed. I am very lucky my boss happened to be in the office still at 5:15 p.m. because I didn't have a waiver. Did the reservations representative not think to inform me about documents that may be needed since when speaking to her I told her it wasn't my card being used but a company card? We were finally able to get the paperwork so I could check in. Then the reservation attendent at the desk asked if I had ever been to the lodge before. I told her no I hadn't. She gave me my room key and explained to me where I needed to drive to get to my room. So ok great I was ready to go and unpack and relax. I drive through the gate and there are I think 7 small Villas and they are numbered 1-7 on the outside on small posts. You can not clearly see the room numbers from the road and since my room number was 733 I clearly thought I was in the wrong place seeing numbers 1-7 only. I had to pull over call the front desk to find out what number villa had room number 733. Even then she didn't say you are in Villa # 6 room # 733. So I had to hunt for my room and I finally found it. She could have explained to me that each villa has a number and then the room numbers are on the door of the villa. I mean she did ask if I had ever been there before. I got in the room and it wasn't as fancy as they make it sound but it will do to rest my head. I went to try to find information about the area and information I might need. Nothing, nada, not a book or note or anything. I looked everywhere. I managed to find a place to eat off the property that was more budget friendly for me using google. The fridge is barely cold. There is an ice bucket but I have no idea where this place has an ice/vending machine because when you walk in it's like being in a 4 bedroom house with hallways and no information other than an exit sign. Ok now with all of that said yes I can/could call the front desk to ask but with the initial issues I had just checking in I felt I was better off not bothering. I guess I will know for next time that I might need documents to check in and that I should be asking if they are needed before I leave my office. If there is ever a next time I hope it is a much better experience because after this one I am not...

They are pleasant but seem incompetent. To give a couple of examples, there are events (for example a concert at the Game Changer) and when you ask for it they do not know about it. Also I ordered something in Amazon that arrived at the reception. They do not seem to communicate among them so it took a long time (at least 1 hour) to finally locate the packet. |I was there for business reasons and needed an adaptor, they did not have any. |And then something happened to me that made me feel unrespected and badly treated. I woke up early on Sunday morning to attend the complimentary yoga class at 9. At 9.10 as nobody was coming to the room I went up to the reception and there they told me the instructor had not arrived yet and that I had to wait at the lobby. At 9.20 I was still waiting. I had a meeting at 10.30 so I started getting unrestful and got up to talk to the people at the reception again and tell them I was still waiting. They said they did not know anything and I had to pressure them to call someone or ask the manager if the instructor was coming. Finally, one of the girls went into the office but it took her another 10 minutes before she went out to tell me with no apologies or anything that the instructor was not coming!!!!....
