When we started looking on-line for a room in Seattle I was in Sticker shock especially for hotels around the downtown area. I started looking at B&Bs and found TTPB&B, looked at the site and started booking the Suite for our stay...When the pricing came up I felt it was a pretty decent deal for all you get ( Free parking, Free WiFi & breakfast) so I booked it thinking it's gotta be better that paying almost $400 downtown. We received the email confirmations and communication all the way up to our stay.
So we land in Seattle, get a car and start heading to the B&B...it's about 10 minutes from Setac, with GPS the place is a breeze to find. We park the car and see the sign for the suite and head to the room-the door was unlocked and we walked in to the living room nicely dimmed and the TV playing smooth jazz, we were like WOW! The room is really not a room but a small 1 bedroom house, there were cookies and candy laying out for us, the fridge stocked with soda, juice and water.
The one thing I thought was unusual is the way they served breakfast, all the food is there to make yourself..(as we are used to going to a set time for breakfast in any other B&B)....BUT in the morning after a long days travel there's just no way I would have gotten up early to go eat. the kitchen was well stocked with everything, eggs, pancake mix, milk, bread for toast, cereal, fresh fruit, danish etc...Now I understand why they do this and it is pure genius!!!
In the morning Penny came down to meet us and of course Callie too, and all I have to say is-if you never meet this wonderful woman you have missed out on knowing one of the most loving, caring fun people you have ever met. You can tell she oozes with love for her little peace of paradise and wants to share it with people. Penny goes above and beyond to make your stay as fun and relaxing as possible.
I really can't believe how inexpensive it is to stay here, she could be easily getting double for all you get...it's a ridiculous deal and a half. The TTPB&B is a must stay while in Seattle.
Our little suite was extremely clean cozy and made you feel extremely relaxed.
Miss you already...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOur 2nd visit to Three Tree Point B&B, and stayed for nearly two weeks. The B&B is in a spectacular location relative to Seattle, as it is set about 20 minutes south of the city on a bluff overlooking Puget Sound. The views of the Olympia mountains to the west during sunset and Mt Rainier to the southeast during sunrise and throughout the day are spectacular to view, especially from the outdoor hot tub. Inside the cottage the windows are large and provide these views from the living room, while the bedroom faces Mt Rainier as you wake. The cottage is well appointed, with a very comfortable living room and kitchen combination. The kitchen is well stocked to enjoy your own breakfast with the fresh eggs produced locally (very locally, as in outside your door from the beautiful hens wandering about), or the fresh pastries and muffins brought in daily by Penny. The bedroom has a wonderful California king bed with wonderful linens that seem to hold you hostage in the mornings. If you leave the doors open in the mornings, you may get a visit from the beautiful and friendly resident pure white german shepherd, Cally, who seems to greet you for petting and affection, but I really think she's on the lookout for food. If the doors are closed, she maintains her distance. In the mornings, a relatively easy hike down to the beach is a great way to begin your day, and get your blood pumping. There are stairs that lead to a wonderful trail, making its way to a great beach for wandering, photographing, and seeing the sound from a different perspective. Getting to and from the B&B is easy, even though its tucked away from the bustle of the city. Penny and the family are wonderful folks with great stories to tell about their travels and history of the house. We will return on future trips to the area, and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThree Tree Point B&B far surpassed our expectations. The property and view is beautiful. You look out over Puget Sound with Mount Rainier in the background. It is a short walk to the shoreline. The location is convenient, within 15 minutes of the airport. The accommodations and attention to detail are wonderful. We stayed in the Suite and loved it - private patio with table and chairs, umbrella, adirondack chairs, full kitchen, large family room area with flatscreen TV and fireplace, separate bedroom with luxury linens. The bathroom was perfect and I am very picky about bathrooms. The whole place has a very nice modern decor, very clean and welcoming, plenty of breakfast options stocked in the refrigerator and cabinets including fresh eggs, fresh juice, organic yogurt, Tillamook cheese, granola, oatmeal, cereal, fresh local bread, fresh cut fruit, and fresh pastries, muffins, and cookies, replenished daily, I could go on and on about how wonderful our stay was. We were out and about alot during our stay and I wish we had longer just to spend and relax on the property. Washer and dryer were handy to have use of as well. Penny was very nice and takes great care to ensure her guests are comfortable - she even brought down a children's book and some toys for our son to play with since we packed as light as possible for our flight. Can't say enough good things about this place. We were very impressed. We wanted to stay longer and want to...
