City of Rocks Retreat — Hotel in Burley

It's a nice campground! The owners are super nice and down to earth. You can make reservations ahead or there is a self service kiosk. It can fill up fairly quickly early and late in the season (when it's not 100 degrees outside). There's really no trees in Alamo Idaho and this campground is no exception. My family stayed at the City of Rocks Retreat RV Park last month, while we visited the City of Rocks. The location is perfect- just outside the reserve entrance. The hosts are friendly, and the facilities are simple but extremely clean. That along with the reasonable price guarantees that we will be back. I don't think you could get any closer to the City of Rocks and still have a roof and a hot shower unless you tow it in. We stayed at the Studio Apartment, which was perfect for our needs. Highly recommend the place. Cell service is very spotty out there - you probably won't get it at the apartment, but there is great wifi.
