We have always thought of pebble isle as a treat to get to go eat beings they are only open so long through the year. But in the last few years it's more of a hassle to go. The turnover on management and serves have been enormous. Dont get me wrong the food is good..little pricey but good. But on a few occasions we have been seated for dinner and have had to wait 15 to 20 minutes for someone to come take our drink order and that's with us having to go in and ask of someone was going to take our orders. Then on april 13 which was a Saturday a group of us went down at 6pm after a jr high prom to have dinner. The sign said closed but the door was open so we figured someone just forgot to flip the sign, we walked in and the salad bar wasnt even put out. I asked a waitress of they were open and she stated we've been slow today so were closing. Like really?!?! Its dinner time on a Saturday and your willing to lose that business cause you were slow during the day beings there was a big event going on just right down the road at the school. And then a week later we ordered from there for a big 30 year anniversary for an employee. We called a few times this week to make sure everything was ok and good to go. Despite the rudeness from the Male owner they said everything was good to go and we could pick our lunch up around 11:45-12. Well we call around 11:30 to let them know we were on our way and the employees had NO IDEA what we were even talking about. So we head down there little after 12 and have to wait till 1:10 for our order..mind you this is a 14 person order so your looking at about $200 dollars. Well we get our food..2 employees food were mor even in the box. The drink orders werent even correct but maybe 3 of them. The burgers werent cooked all the way. Mind you the chicken was good. The potatoes werent cooked all the way and you sidnt get everything you ordered for them. The experience with them in the last few months have been horrendous and that's upsetting to a small town cause we all look forward to Pebble isle opening every spring. I pray they can get things together and communicate better for...

Read moreI would give this place zero stars if I could. You do NOT want to rent from these people. They increase the rates EVERY year and stop doing anything to help the people paying the rates. The place has never looked so bad. They have added on to the restaurant (which is only open a few months in the summer and for limited hours) and added boat slips which both additions only put more money in their pockets. They do NOTHING to help with the boaters or campers. If you want anything done to your campsite you have to do it yourself and they still go up on the rates every year....
