Fisherwaters Resort — Hotel in Camdenton

I have been to many resorts in the Ozarks in my lifetime and this by far is one of my favorites! The cabins are super clean with a lot of updated character. You almost feel like your back in the 1950’s but yet somehow current as well. The owners are awesome and will go out of their way to accommodate all your needs. And while they work hard to constantly update the resort, YES there was construction going on- but was done at reasonable hours and was in no way bothersome! The scenery is awesome and you are right on the water. Fishing was great for people in cabin next to us, however I only seem to catch logs no matter where I’m at.......It was nice to see someone catch fish. The boat dock is great with plenty of room, as well as picnic tables and benches to either fish from or sit and just watch the boats go by. It was not hard to get to ( I get lost easily! ) and there is plenty of shopping close by as well as an awesome local butcher that I highly recommend for all your Barbecuing needs ( the Butcher Shop). I look forward to coming back again and again and would highly recommend...

We had a great time at Fishwaters! Did not want to leave. We stayed in Cabin #3 with the screened in front porch. Made our mornings with coffee and night time relaxing very enjoyable! We had a great lake view which was only feet away. This place is all they say it is. The rustic cabin and woodsy view made this a very tranquil and enjoyable vacation. The bed was comfortable as well. Plenty of blankets and extra pillows if needed. The welcoming tray with water, coffee and paper towels and toiletries was very personable. Pots n pans and utensils, everything you need to cook indoors or out. The weber grill was nice to have. Made it easy for a one stop grocery store run. The dock was great for fishing great for any avid fisher man or woman . We will go back, maybe a fall view? Just as beautiful, I'm sure. We loved this place! Thank you Matt and Becky! We're no stranger to lakeside cabins, and didn't have any expectations aside from a dry roof and a place to lay our heads. I cannot state how glad we were to find this place. The couch was clean and appeared newer, but above all was firm and a joy to sit on. The beds, even more so! I'm a chiropractic physician, and dread staying anywhere but my own home for a predictable night's rest, but this place made me feel as good as home. There was enough swim area for my kids to spend a few hours wearing themselves out. Having a functioning kitchen was a big plus for us. It was part friendly, which our dogs and my wife greatly appreciated. Additionally the covered fishing doc made for good times despite the unpredictable weather. Matthew was a great host, we will recommend...
