Rancho Verde RV Park was the 97th stop for us and stayed 8 nights to see Camp Verde, Cottonwood, and Sedona. Check in was quick and the person doing it was very nice as was our site escort Shane and the rest of the staff. The park itself seems to be in a strange place as you wind through some neighborhoods and you will pass an rv resort but are located near Hwy 260. You pull into the office parking but then have to back out to get to the sites themselves – not a huge challenge. The roads are paved and the site we had had large gravel, a patio and grass – overall the park is kept very clean and has some nice shade trees. It is a smaller park with many long term residents (sites nicely maintained) and they were very welcoming. In terms of connectivity: WiFi 3.5 down/6.0 up, T-Mobile 23 down/5.0 up, Verizon 65 down/12 up. All in all, would stay here if in the area in the future.

This park was very disappointing for the price. The only reason I gave it any stars at all was because the bathroom/shower house and laundry facilities were very clean. We were put in a spot in the lower section by the “stream” and it was not well maintained. The guy who led us to our spot said he was going to get to cutting the weeds which was 5 days ago and guess what? Just as we are preparing to leave he comes to weed wack. Unbelievable. The “upper” part of the park looked neat and tidy but our section looked like the ghetto. For 65.00 a night I expected more. Only amenities are the shower house & laundry. Very disappointing. Weeds were knee high. If you book don’t let them put you by the stream. Also it is touted as a dark sky community. Ha! Right behind our spot was a large rv park with very bright lights.

Stayed there in April 2023. Superb service, great managers. Jim was always working on updating the spaces as people moved in and out and you can see they care a lot for their park. Lots of trees/greenery. Simple use machines for laundry. Very clean park. Completely quiet...no real traffic noise, quiet neighborhood, no partiers. Felt like home. Only downside of the park itself was that wifi was not useable at all.

We arrived late after the office had closed, I went up to the office door and found no instructions that told how to check in after hours. So like we have done at least 75 times all over the country we found a spot, and parked our RV, planning to go to the office in the morning to pay for our spot and book another night. We then went to dinner with our relatives who lived near by, when we returned we found a note taped to the RV door stating the we needed to go to the office in the morning to pay for our spot, I thought no problem that was our intention. But as I continued to read the last line of the note stated that the Marshals had been called and were aware of our presents in the park. In the morning we were woke up at 7am by someone knocking on our door very loud, when I opened the door I recognized the owner of the park and he told me they didn’t allow people to come in after hours and that we needed to go to the office to pay our bill. I told him we had stayed there in the past and were not aware of this rule and asked him what time the office opened. He said the office opened at 9 and I was there about 9:05, when I went in I thought I just needed to not say anything, pay for my spot and get the heck out of there, but the owner decided to escalate the situation by saying if we had stayed there before we should have known the rules and they should have had us towed, and kept calling me a Democrat and saying that being from California I must be a Democrat and prefer open borders, etc. I told them if they didn’t want people coming in after hours it should be posted and maybe have a gate with a key pad, like the park down the road. His wife was also in the office yelling at me also and at one point told me I was scaring her and making her very nervous. It was her husband who decided to escalate the situation but it was me that was scaring her. So if you don’t like staying with Adolf and Eva there is another park right down the street (Verde River RV Resort and Cottages) it is less expensive, has more things to do, and the people are very friendly. By the way we are very conservative, not that it should make a difference as we are...

My wife and our two small dogs stayed here for several days and loved how quiet and serene this park and surrounding area is. Unlike some of the other parks we stayed at in the past with highway noise this park is dead silent at night. I recommend that you call for a reservation and let the host know what time you will be arriving so you can find your spot in the daytime. The picnic table on top of a large concrete pad next to our 34' Monaco was a welcome feature so you aren't sitting in the dirt. The grounds were very well maintained and it looked like the new owner has dumped a ton of money into this place improving everything! They recently installed two Wi-fi repeaters so Wifi is great. Also a large cell phone tower is in the near vicinity so cell signal is strong. If you need help with anything just ask the old guy George up front he is very friendly and helpful. The hookups are well maintained. I would like to see a trash can or two closer to the front of the park so when I pu after my dog I don't have to walk to the back of the campground to throw...

I dont see how this place has many good views. My one month experience was something i would not want to repeat. Several pe After one month when I went to pay my bill. the management ask if I was operating my AC. that it was loud. Nights are down to below zero; I don"t think so! I checked with other campers and no one heard anything. This I suspect came from one particular employee who, for whatever reason decided he didn't like me. He told management I broke my septic which was the reason they refused to return my remaining elect deposit. How is that related?? They also said I stole the electric cord? I gave my credit card number when paying but management states she doesn't have it to return monies .Hey folks i will be an 84 yr .old woman soon .Is this any way to treat anyone? I ended up staying overnight in a safeway parking lot with no heat at 26 degree temp. I contacted the owner which is an L.L.C and they told management to handle it. Ha,Ha. I threaten a law suit . but with He said ,She said .I just want my deposit back and glad to be...
