The Vista set sail with us aboard in early December 2024. We had an incredible journey to Aruba, Curacao, and Grand Turk!
The ship is clean and easy to navigate. The Vista has plenty of dining and entertainment options for people of all ages and abilities.
It is recommended to book the fun excursions offered by Carnival to guarantee the best adventure while in port. We went on the Banana Bus party tour with a historic ride and beach stop in Aruba.
The water is clear as glass, and there are tiki huts at the beach with food and drinks, but the one and only toilet was $2 a go, or with a ticket you get with each drink. We had an absolute blast, though!
The food is good in the differing restaurants and dining halls. The staff are excellent.
You can only sign up for the drink package on the first day, so if you intend to party, find the nearest bar when you board!
The staff in the terminal are super friendly and efficient. There are drug- sniffing dogs, so don't bring anything silly.
The surrounding area of Cape Canaveral features beaches with hotels, shopping, and local dining legends like Dixie Crossroads in Titusville, and Grills Seafood Tiki Bar and Fish Lips...
Read moreThe plan was for 8days cruise to Aruba with Carnival Vista off this port in Orlando in August. About 2hrs to departure time, Carnival changed everyones plan for Aruba due to engine issues. It ship was set to go to Bahamas for 8days & most people got mad & got off the ship. Only $400 was given back per stateroom. The Vista has been having engine issues since May 2024. People had their iternary changed in May due to engine issues with Vista. Carvinal need to once & for all fix the still on-going engine issues with the Vista. People need to stay away from going on a cruise using Carnival Vista. The director on the Vista did a great job on the unplanned 8days cruise to Bahamas even though most of us were still upset. Lastly, Carnival can do better than giving back $400 back per stateroom. That's being too cheap. I sent the home office an email & got a response 3 weeks later saying nothing else can be...
Read moreGary the director was awesome and he did great at his job this has nothing to do with him. At least i think… I have been on 6 cruises and it was by far the worst… No AC but that’s not the cruises fault, but let’s get started, if you have a kid under 18 the only thing to do when the sun goes down is lay them in bed and tell them goodnight. You can’t shoot a basketball past 5:30. You cannot play pool, putt putt, ping pong ,any games except an arcade that i didn’t even check.* probably closed at 5 in the middle of the day also…. Don’t know how the management works in carnival but I have loved every experience through other boats on carnival, but whoever decided times for closing you need to check your watch cause most people don’t wanna bake on the top deck in the middle of the day to play on the so called “Sports square”. The sun goes down they close it? Real smart. Carnival Vista...
